Description

The Custom Build has been changes over the years using the same Case. Recently I used PlastiDip to change the color Internally from Aluminum to Black and the Exterior Black to White (Top part didn't stick the way I wanted at first but still looks awesome)

Enjoy!

Part Reviews

Memory

These just look awesome. I was happy that my board would take these. Not only do they look cool but they pack a punch.

Storage

Found it at a decent Price the time I bought it. What more to say about SSD's. Read/Write are at great speeds.

Storage

Seagate has always been a winner when it comes to Storage. Had a Western Digital and the drive gave out after time. I had these for three years now. No Problems

Video Card

Yes I game but this is all I need to get the job done. Lately, as far as performance has been excellent for Street Fighter 5, Capture and Stream while pushing out on a 32" TV at 1080P 60fps. I'm happy

Case

I had this case since Feb 2010. There have been other cases that caught my attention but the I rather not spend the money. In 2010, the early versions was old Aluminum inside and no window side. I found one at my local PC store (Altex) and swap sides (the old side went on the other side... see pics). Since it is old, the Front I/O Panel does not come with USB 3.0 so I bought a Front Panel 2.5" 3.0 Hub to go with the Current MB.

Power Supply

Great Power Supply. 24-pin is not Modular but everything else is. Great for cable Management.

Optical Drive

Just in case I wanted to watch a Blu-Ray disc on my PC.

Operating System

Free Online through Microsoft. I had Windows 7 Pro SP1 before. I had some issues at first with compatible software a drivers but it worked out in the end.

Wireless Network Adapter

This help a lot when I was no where near a Ethernet cable. This is my, just in case Internet.

Case Fan

Okay... so it is true, you CANNOT put a 200mm Fan if it is not Cooler Master's fan. BUT, I was able to pull it off. The hole structure on a NZXT needs to be cut off for it to fit. Don't worry, you just need to cut off the holes you are not using (bottom 2 facing away from you).

The reason for all this, Cooler Master does not make a White LED 200mm Fan.

Case Fan

Fans. They works. They Spin. Everything is cool and it lights white LED. (_^)

Keyboard

Wife bought this for me for Christmas. Awesome Keyboard. Three colors to choose on Backlight and can dim the light down as well.

Speakers

This was given to me. Does the job.

Nice job on the build. I too have been re-using the same case for about 10 years. I am at the end stages now of a new build that I have been posting. My case doesn't even have any cable management. How did that Thermaltake cooler fit? I had to remove my side window fan for clearance with the older version Frio Advanced I bought. Take a peek back a few posts and you will see. Paint job looks great. Nice contrast with the black and white. Neither really out does the other so nice balance. Great job

Before I bought it, I had to make sure it will fit. I still have a extra inch before touching the side. I went all over trying to find the dimensions and somewhere down the line, I found it.

I did take a look at your setup and It make since. My side window has the holes for a fan but I choose not to. Kinda wish it wasn't there at all.

The main goal was to not buy another case and instead build a desk with my Parts inside.

Smart move not putting in the side fan. May have been a clearance issue with the cooler unless you used a low profile fan. I have approx. 1/2 inch clearance from my side panel to the cooler. I have considered replacing the clear panel with a new one and lowering the fan cut out or just not having one at all.

I reuse all my PC parts if they work and are compatible with what I am building.

That desk PC is off the hook. That looks really cool (all except the power supply on the desk).

Haha. I was thinking the same. PSU would not be sitting out.

Funny when I bought this... I meant to get the 6700K

I think you meant the 6800k as there is no 6700k...

Great job with the painting! +1

I think he's referring to the i7 6700k, not really sure how he got an A10 and an i7 mixed up but I guess it can happen.

I think he's referring to the i7 6700k

The i7 is intel and he bought a FM2 which is AMD. This cpu is old so i have to guess he bought it a long time ago when skylake wasnt even available. At this point there are much better fm2+ options and even cheaper...

Yes, I'm not stupid I know all too well that the i7 is an intel product and that the FM2+ socket is from AMD. I was merely misunderstanding what he meant by 6700, I didn't think he would buy an FM2+ CPU with that GPU so I assumed he meant an 1151 socket cpu thinking that maybe he misbought, realized, then decided to go with it and bought a mobo for it.

Oh my gosh I keep seeing builds with like 200 dollar motherboards and an 80 dollar processor. Jeez meet in the middle and get a decent board with mosfet cooling and get a processor thats a little better.

I'd imagine it may be very differently priced wherever he is.

guys, he's probably talking about the A10-6700 (I know this one isn't k edition) http://pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-ad6700okhlbox seriously, why would people think he was talking about an i7?

You are correct. Meant to put 6800K.

It was a typo, I bought the 6700 but meant to buy a 6800K. Sorry for the confusion.

I thought you accidentally grabbed the wrong box, which wouldn't make sense, and your motherboard is suited for an AMD CPU (I don't like the term APU, I'll just say CPU :P )
