Second build! not for me but for an 'uncle'. he'll be using it for word processing and light video watching, intended to last for 6 years. it is also my first time using an AMD cpu (or apu...)
CPU: pretty good in terms of GPU power, not so much in CPU. 7.3 in wei for cpu, 5.8/6.3 in gpu scores. Technically this is equivalent to the intel i3 2100, i chose not to get it since the amd choice would be cheaper. Im not sure but it feels a lot slower :( (after coming from an i5 3450, i think i got used to its speed.) im not sure if the CPU tenps are normal, can someone confirm for me? :D
Motherboard: pretty good for the price, got it for 60$. the only bad thing i dont like is the tin like motherboard io shield. it literally feels so week. One of the flaps bent in when installing so after installing everything, the ethernet port was blocked with the io shield flap. No sata3 or usb3, i knew that though. I guess the 6 3gb/s connectors make up for the loss :P. The UEFI is very clunky, the ai suite application is slow and not as useful. Gets the job done though! Very satisfied!
If there is any way of allocating more ram for the igpu, please post below!!
RAM: runs at 1333, no complaints!
HDD: standard, i partitioned 80gb for os, and the rest for media.
Case: im pretty surprised with the quality. a lot of reviews say its damaged upon arrival; ie broken front panel. this didnt happen to me so its ok! its a cute small tower, i wanted one myself. The 120mm front fan is kinda useless... Doesnt really draw any air in as theres only a small hole on the bottom
Optical Drive: standard, was great for installing os :) Keyboard/mouse: in one of the pictures, it actually shows two sets of the same keyboard. thats cuz i got one, then got another one for this build. i REALLY like this keyboard
OS: i got it for free. no not torrent, i got it from a friend who has an msdn subscription
monitor: is actually the LG 2242. its a 21.5" screen, its quite nice for the price i got it at, 110$!
printer : is a nice brother hl 2280 i got from future shop for $99.99
speakers: lol it was for 15$.
the wei scores are as follows
7.3 7.3 5.8 6.3 5.9
this system is pretty impressive considering i only paid 700 for a full computer system. it surprisingly runs LoL at 1080p at 60fps. it fluctuates but hey, its intergrated graphics. settings are on high.
