Description

New gaming rig to replace 6 year old ROG laptop. Only problem was a clip on the IO shield getting caught and bent on the USB socket. Posted quickly. Windows 10 installed, bios flashed from 0222 to 4011. No issues. RAM at 3466Mhz 1.35V straight away after bios update. Will try to get 3600 and update this if successful. CPU stock - cinebench score 1766. Heaven benchmark coming soon.

Since you are only using 2.5'' SSDs, have you considered moving the decorative panel backwards toward the back panel and losing the 3.5'' trays? It adds more depth to the Define R6 and makes it look more spacious.

I did think about that , but I think it would look funny with so much empty space and nothing filling it. Plus I kinda like the white drive bays there. I'll consider it again though, cheers!

That is one beast of a build! +1

Could you add a few more photos like the 3rd one while all of the motherboard's RGB lighting is on?

Thanks! I'm loving it so far. I will take a couple more RGB photos tonight.

Nice build! How is the galax gpu suiting you? I’m thinking of building a new PC soon and yours looks really cool. +1

And really expensive...
