Description

Here is my machine, its taken me a few years to finish but its now complete. The monitor I actually have is the Asus mw221 but not available to select I've managed to achieve a overclock of 3.9GHZ stable have hit 4.4GHZ in the past but was touching 80c so decided to stay at 3.9GHZ. I've been luck over the years and picked some of the items up cheap in sales ao not paid very much. But it's a good machine and I love it.

The cpu mobo and 8gb of the ram I've had since 2012

The ssd I bought in 2014 black Friday sales on amazon

The cooler and gpu I bought In Jan 2015

I've just bought another 8gb ram this year to help keep me in the game.

The games I do play are war thunder, elite dangerous I can play both them at ultra res and stay above 30fps.

I also play Day z at which I have to have it on low settings as it seems to struggle with this game for some reason around 26fps last I played.

I also play on SWTOR with everything maxed out fine again above 30fps and star wars battlefront at medium settings it plays smoothly enough not got the fps yet.

Will post more picks soon

Looks like the Antec has held its own for the past 3 years. Nice prices. Neat to see a morphed update build. +1

I think it's a nice build. You used what you had instead of blowing your retirement pension for a gpu that'll be out of style in 6 months. Nothing wrong with using a 750 Ti, since it does what you want for the games you play. Hope you enjoy it.

When I bought the GPU the gtx 950 / r9 380 wasn't out yet so I got a good deal in my opinion. As for the psu I've had it a while and it's been a good one and I don't realy give it enough hammer so should be ok.

Time to clean that CPU cooler up a bit, but everything else looks clean. It is always nice to see those builds someone has put a lot of time and effort in to. +1 my friend.

They are Tier 2

The tier list has a ton of flaws in it, I wouldn't cite it as a soucre, that would be like citing Wikipedia in a PhD dissertation

There is quite a few misleading things in it. Actually he finally cleaned it up some after various people inclduing me pointing out flaws in it and him just rolling it off. Like the CX being in the same tier as the Lepa Maxbron but not in the same in as the Evga 500/600 watt B1 which it is on par with. The Evga GS all lumped together, the 850/1000 watt units are without a doubt clearly better than the 550 and 650 watt units. All of the CX series lumped together, the 750 and 850 watts versions are different for the worst, mainly when it comes to heat. The Lepa F1 series with the CX which is a huge joke, the Lepa F1 series is put it bluntly a complete trainwreck of a unit that is all out of ATX spec and has some super high ripple on it, like 600mv high. I have also seen conflicting reviews of the Lepa G1600, it seems like Lepa can't make a consistent and decent psu if they life depended on it. I probably could keep going on but I'll stop there.
