I have the same parts as you. How did you fit the LL120 fans at the bottom without hitting the USB 3.0 header?

+1 Nice colour choice. What do u stream?... Cause that seems to be a streaming setup.

  • 1 point

Thanks! I did youtube for a while (K1LO Gaming) but honestly gave it up because with the time I do have, I'd rather just be playing games than making videos about games haha. I should start streaming tho.

Bottom fans should be set as intakes. Counterproductive to the GPU fans. Probably see big temp decrease on the card.

  • 3 points

Nope, hybrid GPU. Doesn't even use the single fan that the GPU has. Temps in the mid 50's under load

It's kinda hard to tell when your PC pictures are from 4 feet away and you only have 3 of them. I came here to say what he said

Yeah seems more like a setup showoff then a pc build show off imo, nice build tho.

How did u connect the 3 pin rgb fan if that motherboard doesnt have any rgb headers at all

You don't plug fans into rgb headers. You plug fans into fan headers. Lol.

Sick setup. Love your use of the RGB. The blue and green makes the build stand out compared to the million other RGB builds out there.

  • 1 point

Magnificent build, I was just wondering if there is a downside to smaller tower builds. Also any reason you have two vertical monitors?

  • 2 points

Air flow and thermals can be more of a challenge in a smaller build but I just love when everything is nice and tidy :)

As for the port monitors I like them because it reduces the horizontal landscape so you turn your head less and it's nice for web browsing, documents, etc. I used to think it was just for programers but definitely not the case

Nice build! I have the same gpu and cpu cooler and looking into getting this case. How exactly do you have the radiators mounted? Any chance you can upload a well lit picture of inside the case? Thanks in advance!

  • 2 points

https://imgur.com/a/2wSGgTd honestly it was a beast figuring out how to get it all in there. I mounted the GPU rad to the top screw holes of the bottom fan in the front because without push/pull on the GPU rad my temps were too high. The Kraken is mounted by only two screws (the mounts for the rear top fan using the holes closer to the front of the case). It's really frustrating because there's adequate room for everything I want, it's just the mounting placements on the case itself are limited.

don't know if you are still answering comments but how does the mobo 24 pin cable look coming out of the mobo and into the case grommet since it is a little high up, can you post a picture of the pc dead on with like your phone flash on or something so I can see the details, THX love the build

Do those capita legs hold up well when you're at your desk? Like, they don't slide around or anything? I was thinking of doing something similar on top of cabinets with a countertop and seeing how close the legs are to the edges causes me a great deal of anxiety..

Why aren't your bottom fans exhausting cool air into your GPU?

Cuz it made a 1-2C difference and so personally I think the better aesthetic is worth it

Nice set up ! I have a question and a request....im going to be getting a ftw3 hybrid, but I was wondering how much flexability I will have with the tubes in my define mini c with a cooler height limitation of 172mm. Your case has a cpu cooler height limitation of 150mm...

Question: how flexable are the tubes ? is it pusshing on the panel with much force ?

Request: could you take a picture with plenty of lighting so that I can see the inside.

My tubes will be pointing down and with the panel closed, I just hope its not pusshing the gpu downards from the pressure from the panel.

  • 1 point

Awesome. Can you share a picture of how you got the 1080ti hybrid tubing routed? I have the same GPU and want to get this case. Any help is appreciated.

How'd you get those fans to fit in the bottom with a micro ATX motherboard? I was told that with micro ATX boards, you can't fit fans in the bottom. What are the temps like? Looking to build the same system, but with a Ryzen chip, DeepCool Castle 280, and a RTX 2080ti. Two 140 fans in front. Two 140's in the top, and two 140's in the bottom.

  • 1 point

140s have issues going on bottom (or rather tight for mitx), 120s should be fine

  • 1 point

where did you place the radiators? I can't quite make it out on the pictures. Is the one from the hybrid graphics card up top in the rear and the x52 in front? how did you manage to fit 2 fans in the bottom? thanks ^

I'm confused, did you mount your CPU radiator to the front 120s, and the hybrid to the top 120?

  • 2 points

I believe he mounted he CPU radiator to the top and then mounted the GPU radiator to one of the front LL120s.

Great 280X build, really like your 2 color theme.

Question how did you get your corsair LL120's front fans to 2 show different static colors inner hub and outer ring? My understanding from searching is that this isn't possible in the iCue software. It's been driving me crazy as I want to do the same.

  • 1 point

you can have 2 static colors on icue, just control drag the rgb zones. do the outer ring first then do the inner ring
