Description

A little build I've been working on; it's come a long way in the past few months.

I plan on replacing the 280x with an MSI R9 390 in the near future, for increased performance and a little better of a scheme going on.

Not much more to say, really.

UPDATE Sentry Mix 2 fan controller installed (shown in the first picture.)

It's not the most expensive build here, but man, it makes me nervous seeing it sit on the ledge like that.

Looks very clean though. Nice job putting it together!

I appreciate it. But trust me, If it were even the slightest bit wobbly, I wouldn't have it up there. Haha

Have you overclocked that chip yet? What did you get to with that cooler?

I got up to a stable 4.8, but I didn't try to get much higher. CAM is wonky and stopped opening after any overclock. Because of this, I didn't have much control over the cooler in general, so I reverted back to stock 4.0/4.2

Ok thanks. Have you looked around for a solution, someone must know something on how to fix this.

Good luck trying to get that overclock useable.

I had not looked too deeply for a solution, but I'm sure it's out there. Thanks

Hi i like your build that is one of the cleanest builds in my opinion i also like that black theme too!!! I have a question about you build though. What do you think of this motherboard??? Any issues????? And do you wish you got another motherboard instead?? Becuase I plan on overclocking to 4.8 on an 8320/8350 and crossfiring two gpus.

Really enjoying this build my friend. Excellent cable management makes this so clean, loving the kraken cooler too, I have one myself and it's a great aesthetic piece versus an air cooler imo. Keep it up! +1

A few extra bucks for a badass 280mm AIO is definitely worth it.

It would be a solid build if the 280x's did not have artifacting problems in certain games. But other than that, I love it.

I have that same GPU, where did you buy it for only 200 bucks, mine was like 330 on amazon?

Got a sweet deal on Ebay. Though, this card performs like a dream on most games, artifacting in some games (BF4, GTAV, etc.) Makes them unplayable. This is one reason I want a new card.

Hello man! I love your build.. sooo clean. I have the same case..

Please tell me, how could i connect that fan HUB into MB if the CPU_FAN slot is there for Kraken cooler only?! I wanna control 2add. fans in my case but theres no way how to connect it to CPU_FAN connector.

And your chipset.. is it ok? No high temperatures?

I've fixed it already. I used the tension on the vga cables to hold it up.
