Description

Disclaimer: I really don't like typing on mechanical keyboards and I grew up using controllers, so that is why I ended up with the peripherals that I have. I don't game competitively and I write code all day for work so having a softer keypress has been really nice on my fingers.

I've always wanted a wall mounted build and here it is. The LEDs look way more white in person, not sure why the camera kept picking up how blue it was. I didn't feel like dropping >$1k on 2080ti so I went with a 1080ti.

i9 9900K - OC 5.0GHz (1.32V) GTX 1080 ti - OC (+150MHz core, +650MHz memory)

Neither of the parts that I overclocked have won the lottery, they are running well now that I have been tinkering with it, but my voltage is a little high on the CPU and the GPU clocks are a little lower than I would have liked.

I do plan on running PETG tubing, but the loop is kind of in limbo right now, I have to figure out how to flip the radiator to get the inlet/outlet on the bottom (because I think it'll look cleaner), once I figure that out, I'll be bending PETG. I also despise the PSU cables and am going to get sleeved cables when I do PETG.

Nice Build!

How are the A2+ speakers looking and doing the same setup but I have a question with out the AE subwoofer how do they sound? I was looking into getting the A2+ then down the road when I save up getting the sub

They sound great! Honestly the sub is a little overkill, but it does help a lot with the low end. I'd say get the speakers and the stands and you should be fine.

Great looking build. finished up amazingly well. Yeah sleeved cables would be a nice finishing touch, though fortunately they are white so would not have even realised without your comment to be honest, they blend in pretty well.

Where is the second monitor though?

Great work +1

The monitor is coming in future pics... I've made some changes since these pics were taken. The desk starts to look less clean with the second monitor.

It's beautiful. I especially adore the colours snapped in the first picture. +1

Just curious, but what's going on with your graphics card power cables?

Looks excellent, the couple 9900ks I have messed with seem to all like voltage so 1.32 isn't awful.

Nice build! I'm gonna try and make a very similar one. Can you please tell me how much clearance you have between your GPU and your radiator? I have a GPU the exact same length as yours but I want to go with a slightly wider radiator at 153mm vs your 143mm. Please let me know If there is 10mm clearance (0.4in) it seems pretty snug. Thanks!!
