Description

This is my very first self-build gaming pc. I actually had an old one that was built by my uncle (he's not actually that good lol). my old 6850 died after 1 and a half year so I used a few old parts from my 800 old gaming pc. I'm not really good at building gaming PC so it took me like 2-3 hours to finish it.

The main theme is dragon and the main colors are black, white, red. I use it mostly for gaming and i'm still working on how to overclock it. I'm thinking about upgrade my PC by SLI-ing the 760 Superclocked and adding extra 8gb ram (4 x 4gb @ 1866Mhz).I built it 1.5 months ago but I just decided to show it off so yeah !

Hopefully i won't be criticize too much LOL. I know i'm not good at this so please don't insult me Teehee

For gaming, you wouldn't really need more than 8gb of RAM. Other than that, looks ok. I too am fairly new to PC building. We all start somewhere and here is as good a place as any. :)

Sorry I forgot to say I also sometimes do video editing(not professional) and 12 or 16gb of ram is just for future gaming and multitasking :D

Nice build! the theme goes well with the rest of your setup.

760s are great for SLI, and the evga acx cooler does a great job. So there wont be any heat issues when you upgrade.

You could do a bit better with the cable management, but other than that, it looks great!

That´s quite the setup! love the PC and the desk and the plants. As someone said once: The whole is more than the sum of it parts hehehe. Congrats and well done.

How are you liking the G930 headset? I want them for Christmas but I would like to make sure they're the ones I want.

I have a pair. They are nice. Some people like the Corsair Vengeance 2000 ones better. I don't use them often because they are my dads. I prefer my other overpriced Razer Blacksharks.

it's ok but it becomes gimmick sometimes. After more than 2 years the wireless signal started to lose a lot, like every 10-20 mins. Battery became worse. And the software sometimes make the headset sounds so ******. I'd recommend the Storm Sirus i'm having since it's true 5.1 and cheaper. Or you can get the G530( The new one that came out months ago) so you won't have to worry about the signal loss. And there's one thing that happens to most of G930 users is the earpads leather start to be torn off after 1.5-2 years of using

for future 2nd 760 card and I saw good reviews on this PSU. I don't want it to die and I'll have to get a new one and do the cable management and hook up cables. I hate doing it the most.

Needs cable-management (flip psu over) and is also overpriced for what you could do with $1800.

Nice build though.

1800 is with monitor, headset, speakers, mouse, keyboards,.etc.. without it's about 1200-1300. and i only chose good/ durable stuff :D

hey just wondering, does that ram fit ok with the mobo and cooler?

  • 2 points

yea it fits just right but for the one right next to it you would have to move the fan a lil but up (there's nothing wrong with doing this and it's not gonna touch the side panel)
