Description

First time building in a case this small (and of this quality) but I have to say that Fractal did a very good job of making cable management pretty easy, even for someone as disorganized as myself. As a cost cutting measure I took the storage out of my old computer (the 2.5" SSD and the HDD) and my Graphics card because a 1070 is fine, especially in the current GPU market. Overall I'm very happy with this build. Would definitely recommend all the parts I've used. For the Fans and LED strip, I bought a HUE+ and 2 NZXT Aer RGB 140s and 1 120.

Sounds like OP had it for a while and is content. Possibly before GPU prices went up again. Though a lot of GPUs have... and yes, nice job Attilian.

Definitely have had it for a while. I think about 2 years.

The 1070 was pulled from my old computer. I upgraded a couple years ago from a 760 but it was time to upgrade everything else this year.

Pretty solid build, although the cable management on things like the fans and pump could be less exposed.

I'll probably go back and do another pass on cable management. By that time I was just ready to turn it on.

How are the temps on the 1070? Any downfall of the Rad being so close to the GPU? Seriously considering this case, I have an S340 right now and HATE it, this is almost the same except it has a complete hard top which is a HUGE win for front to back airflow.

No issues. I ended up putting the Rad on the front after watching several videos, I decided on the front.

This is the video that decided for me.

I almost went with the S340 elite but the Define C won me over.

what are the temps like on that GPU? Mine are always just about 80 no matter what game...

I don't think I've ever seen it above 70

Do you need Hue+ to use the kraken?
