Description

This is my daily/gaming PC, My old one was an Ibuypower dinosaur, that like a dinosaur was going extinct. I decided to build my own this time around and am Glad I did.

Note: I love the look of this motherboard, but it is not directly compatible with the corsair Vengeance Pro, You have to control it with the ICUE Software, another gripe is due to the location of the USB 3 plug for the front plugs, there is very little play getting the board plugged into the front connectors and i was worried about breaking the connector. Luckily it didn't happen!

Next steps are going to be Braided extensions, AIO cooler and Vengeance Dummy Ram to finish the lighting.

I am mainly Gaming WoW and CS:GO on this machine and am running 1080 at ultra 100+fps which is a nice upgrade for me.

Have you played Apex legend with that GPU?

Classicalfredo submitter 1 Build 1 point 26 days ago

So I have played a bit with it Have it running high settings framerate has seemed good, haven't noticed any lagging or anything of the sort.

Decent part choices, just needs more intake fans. Some HP-12s from Fractal would work in the front.

Classicalfredo submitter 1 Build 1 point 26 days ago

The plan is to mount an AIO on the front panel as intake and move the current intake to a top exhaust. In the meantime my temperatures are well within acceptable ranges, so I havent been overly concerned about it.

I mean the X299 prime does look like the X470 prime, but they aren't the same socket and chipset lol.

Please don't self-censor while leaving part of curse words in your post. It's better to just use the word and let the site's profanity filter handle it or fully censor the term yourself.
