Description

This has been a very fun build and absolutey smashes anything I throw at it, an enormous upgrade over my i5-6600k and gtx 1070 ( which was a great little build! ). Trying to keep the 3 aio’s neat in the one system proved to be the most difficult aspect of this build, and I am extremely happy with the outcome. The custom gpu backplate was ordered through a guy locally that makes a few case mods and it complements the build rather nicely. Couldnt help myself but sit a couple of Pop vinyls in the case too, and I think they look quite at home. I 3D printed the fan shrouds with an ender 5 and in my opinion they just finish off the build.

The 680x is really such a joy of a case to build in, with alot of room to work with and cable management is made easy with the second compartment. The only issues I have with this case are the front glass panel limiting airflow ( I removed mine and it looks just as good and now has great airflow ) and I wish it was a little longer to allow for a thicker front rad with longer gpus, but you can work around that and use top and bottom rads only I guess.

All in all it’s a very clean looking case, with alot of room to build a monster of a pc. Cheers for having a look and reading my small novel xD.

Cpu clocked at 4.9 on all cores Gpu boost clocks at 2050 Memory +500

Current photos of build with the 1080 sli setup, will update with the 1080ti pics when home in a couple of days. Using same coolers etc as it sits in photos now. Have also changed front rad fans. Cheers :)

Why the 1080 ti why not the 2080 ti?

I got them both very well priced, both 1080tis cost me roughly half of a 2080ti here in Aus and I’m a bit of an sli enthusiast :p

looks kickass! What kind of desk do you have? I've been looking into getting an L desk, but haven't found any good ones yet.

I actually custom made this out of ikea gear to make a big U shape :) I am using two ikea 1200x1200 corner desk units, 4 sets of drawers and then have cut bench top to suit and siliconed the join to seal neatly :)

I didn't realize it was U shape desk. My bad. Still looks great though. Nicely done!

This proves the 680X can look good without the air restricting front glass panel! Very well done!

Man your setup looks really cool +1. The 1080 ti's are a very solid choice of hardware.

Looks nice. Did you build 2 of the same exact rigs? I noticed you had another one...

Nope I should of just updated the existing build 😅 I got a 9900k and 1080 ti’s really well priced so swapped out the other gpus and cpu, new psu etc 😎
