Honestly just wanted to see how much this thing cost be when the 4th gen I7 was great and didn't show any issues. Got this thing for free and thought about upgrading some if not all the components, you might I'm not sure but you can check out the "INSANE 2K BUDGET" or whatever the title is. But this pc is alright when it comes to basic things I'm not sure if something is wrong with my SSD because people have talked about it slowing their system down a lot or if it's just the pc showing its age. The only things that I had to put money into this thing were new thermal paste for the CPU, my wifi card, the drives, and a 120mm fan.anyways done with ranting ill upload photos soon. CPU is stable at 4.8 ghz at around 1.3ish volts and tried over clocking my ram but couldn’t figure it out. Even though the GPU isn’t a gaming GPU by any means what’s so ever I still managed to get around 60-70fps on fortnite on low-mid settings.

Part Reviews

Decent processor. has Hyperthreading so this helps a lot with photoshop and editing different videos.

CPU Cooler

keeps my CPU nice and coolish.

Good board for 2011 series. wish it had more fan headers though.

really fast for ddr3, plus this was my first experience with 32gbs of ram so this was a good set. got it for 198.99

fast for the price but filled up faster than boot times lol. honestly, I think that I am having issues with this SSD only because my system used to have an 860 EVO, but it had a bunch of server crap on it so we had to get rid of it. So I settled for this, cheap, small decently fast drive. But my system gets random stutters or takes forever to load certain things and I've heard bad things about this SSD so maybe it's the SSD. I hope it is at least.

Great for storage, well basic storage. would recommend for video files, photos, or games that you barely play.

Video Card

goofy looking card. Caught me off guard with 60-70 fps on fortnite. better for basic stuff though like chrome or other basic things. (not for gaming but tried it out for fun)

decent airflow, the 200mm fan on the front as alright RGB. PLus for a mid-tower, this thing is FREAKING HUGE. SEEMS LIKE A FULL TOWER BUT WITHOUT THE BENEFITS OF ONE.

Optical Drive

honestly never even used this before and it is kind of useless for me anyway, just have it because it came with the pc.

Wireless Network Adapter

Perfect getting high speeds for a wireless adapter.

Case Fan

gets the job done.

Throw a modern high-end graphics card in there and it will destroy any game you throw at it.

Agreed. X79 has more life left in it than you think...

I’ve been thinking about putting in a 2070 or better but I’m not sure if I wanna use this processor anymore cause the system is a little dated

If you want you can get i7 3930k's for around $70 which are 6 core 12 thread sandy bridge chips and can overclock to 4,7 quite easily. I even used one with a 1080 ti and obviously some games run better with a 8700k but for the price and considering you have the board, a rtx 2070 and 3930k would pair nice together for the price and performance.

The H700 by NZXT is called a mid tower when it is basically a full tower.

A reccomendation, put the fan pushing into the radiator instead of pulling. I have seen on YouTube you get better performance that way. Neat build.

I’ll try it out and update you later thanks for the info
