Description

Built for high workload Unreal Engine, Solidworks, Adobe suite, and Gaming. I originally had problems with the CPU being overclocked on idle, the problem was MSI Dragon Center was changing the power state to Ultimate Performance which forced the CPU to its Boost Clock. After that everything is working fine and well, I can get 144+ frames on any game I have and it runs smoothly with my 144Hz monitor.

Part Reviews

Storage

The fastest drive I have ever tried, perfect for large projects like Unreal Engine or Solidworks when it comes time to save. The only downside is the price per GB but i understand that you are paying for speed rather than storage. Installed under Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon heat-spreader without any issues.

Case

It is a great case to show off your pc parts and RGB. The 2x120mm fans in the front, provide a great amount of ventilation, even with being restricted by the front acrylic panel. Taking the case apart is alright, you have to unscrew 4 screws to a support bracket for the curved corner of the case, but after 2 more thumb screws the panel slides off. Easy to mount motherboard, PSU, and HDD. I did have to remove the GPU riser bracket for my 2080 Gaming X Trio from MSI to fit.

Did you place your Samsung 970 Pro on M.2_2 slot with heat spreader? Does it work fine? On the manual, M.2_1 should be used when using only one M.2 slot. I'm trying to use M.2_2 slot because of heat spreader but kind of concerned since manual doesn't cover it.

Yes, I put it in M.2_2 slot lower on the board and have had nothing bad happen, but it may be different for different motherboard manufacturers.

Do you mind providing your temps with the M22 at full load?

I have pushed by processor to the limit and gotten 91 degrees celsius, but that was at peek boost clock for a longer period of time.

How has the monitor worked out for you? You are definitely pushing past 144hz.

The monitor is excellent, most of the games I play, I choose the Ultra or High settings so a stable 144fps is usually what I get (Monitored with Geforce Experience). I do only get about 70-80 fps on Assassins Creed Odyssey at maximum settings, although that game is very demanding.
