Description

Look forward to your thoughts guys. I haven't updated the pricing yet but I will soon because I was able to snag some ridiculous deals on this build.

Nice build. The 680s may be a little dated, but they should still handle games very well.

They are very dated but have been handling everything I throw at them extremely well. My plan is to eventually move to a single 980 but for a start with free graphics cards, you can't beat that..

I'm still running twin GB-GTX-580's in SLI and there is not 1 game I have played to date I can't run on Ultra settings with at least 8x-AA including a massively modded up Skyrim and ARMA 3

So the GTX-680's would last him a couple more years :P

Nice build .... My only comment is so petty but I am curious as to why the H110 block is a 1/4 turn off so the "CORSAIR" name is not on the horizontal. For a build with a windowed case it is in my opinion a matter of dotting the I's and crossing the T's. But as nice as you have it I am guessing it was a mounting issue but I am curious.

It was a mounting issue, I was trying to find a work around but it kinked the lines. I'm going to try and flip it this weekend because I need to install SP fans for the rad. Trust me, it tilts me too that it sits sideways..

Hi there I recently built a devils canon build 'http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/b/9BTH99 ' and have 2 of the intel 730 ssds 240gb. At first after some trouble I finally got them in raid 0 however after a speed test it showed that I wasn't getting the 1GB read speed I should. After a windows **** up I reinstalled the os a few times and lost my raid in the process. Just wondering if you're running them in raid 0 and how you did it and what your speeds are?

I'm not running into any issues at all running them in RAID 0. They are RIDICULOUSLY fast. I'll get the speed on them today for you but I know they ranked higher than anything else I had seen when I ran the benchmarks. Did you run into any registry issues when you installed the OS?

Also, when you set them up in RAID 0 what other changes did you make through the BIOS? Are you sure you're connected to the correct SATA connectors on the Motherboard for running RAID 0? Check your SATA connections first, you may be plugged into the wrong connectors. Let me know if you come across any issues, ASUS's MOB Manual has a great layout for where you should have your SSD's plugged into.

Truth be told I didn't actually read the manual :/... The issue I ran into was actually that I had setup raid 0 (ez raid config didn't allow me to install windows 8 onto it) so I managed to set it up via intel rapid storage. Anyway once my case finally arrived I disassembled my benchtest build and when I reconnected the ssd's (may have used different sata ports) I lost the raid and everything on the drive including os.

I've currently got windows 7 N installed on one of the drives and have left the other empty for now until I figure out what I'm going to do. Thanks for the speedy reply and any help would be awesome

Understandable, I haven't been on my PC for 2 days now (going through withdrawal) but I'll send you those SSD speeds over later today. Good luck on getting everything worked out. I'm more than happy to help.

I've been told fitting the Corsair H110 to the roof of this case can cause issues if you don't take the grill off the top?

No issues at all, just a pain in the ***. Had no problems whatsoever. Hit me on Twitter and I'll PM you some pics. @luishvjr
