Description

This is the first build I have done since 2014. I spent weeks searching and looking for a List of parts that all matched well and shared the same theme and I’m very pleased with how it turned out. I’ll be using this Mostly for Video editing and occasionally gaming. The fans are the DarkFlash RGB series, they are actually built very very well and provide plenty of airflow. Kyle from bitwit posted a video about them and he sold me on them.

How did you connect 9 fans? The DarkFlash RGB series fan hub looks like it supports up to 8 fans, did you just use a splitter or something?

Looking at doing something similar so anything helps. Thank you!

I love the aesthetics! +1

Just a few questions: How'd you get rid of the deepcool logo?

And, how are you controlling the RGB fans? Is it through Asus Sync?

The Coolers top comes with replaceable Things that you can put inside of it for different logos, and I just went with the blank one so it created the endless effect. And Yeah all the Fans and everything is controlled through Asus Aura Sync

Looks great. It's hard to pull off a true white setup with RGB LEDs. White always ends up coming out a light blue or tainted purple.

Yeah I got lucky with these lights, it looks pure white and I’m happy with it

Hey first time PC builder here, one question, the deepcool fans do I order 3 of the liquid cool systems to get the 9 fans pictured?

  • 1 point

No, those aren’t the fans that come with the cooler, You need to research much more about coolers if you think you need to order 3 of them.

lol i think he's asking if he needs to order 3 sperate systems just to get the fans in the build... but then again, you never know...

Are you using the motherboard or the controller to change the lights on the cpu cooler? I have it set up to the motherboard right now but I can't get that rainbow circle pattern back

I use the Motherboard! Through Asus Aura

Bro that is so sick, I love the combination of colors and it's the perfect amount and very balanced. Well done!

Instead of going with the Founders 2080 SUPER, I'd go with a white card to fit with your color scheme better...

It’s not a white theme. Look at the photo with the lights off, the only white part in the whole thing is the cables. And All of the other cards are hideous in my Opinion.

oh sorry dude

Only a few look hideous ,not all. When the lights are all on on your build it does look like a white theme build . A white Gigabyte OC Rtx 2080 or White Asus Strix Rtx 2080 would of looked very nice with this build and perform way better than a founders edition. 64gb of memory ram is overkill for this build . Nice build though.

It wouldn’t perform “way better” but it would have a slight advantage. I will always get a founders edition card unless someone like EVGA or Asus make a good looking card. And no the 64gb ram is not overkill. You need to look into it a little bit more buddy.

Adobe After Affects uses an Insane amount of ram and at 32gb It was actually limiting the computer, so I bought another 32gb. And a majority of my work is on after affects.

5.4ghz??? What voltage/bios settings do you have? That's crazy! Do you think I can do that on an Aorus Elite + a 280mm aio?

I watched a video on YouTube and followed his directions, I’m pretty sure intel even says the 9900k is very stable at 5.0ghz.

Your build says 5.4ghz, though

  • 1 point

Yes it does, because that’s what it is at. I was just stating that you could easily do 5.0ghz
