"There was only one ship."
"One... Are you sure?"
"Yes. They called it, The Pillar of Autumn..."
As of today my PC is 2 years old. As I have grown, She has grown with me. From the original build with an RX 470 and 8gb of RAM, great for 1080p gaming, to now with a Vega 56 and 16gb of RAM, and can push 4k no sweat.
She has served me well for 2 years and will hopefully serve me well for many more. Especially with the MCC coming to PC, She can finally fulfill Her true purpose in helping Bungie achieve world domination.
This 1.5 version is the most current form. And I will likely be posting a 2.0 sometime in the future.
While I wouldn't recommend buying it for near the price I paid nowadays, for 2017 it was a really good deal for a new 6600k. Overall has ran well for 2 years and to this day seldom goes above 65C. even under full load at 4.5ghz.
Does it's job.
For the price I got it for it is great. Plenty of support for drives and expansion slots for the future. If only Intel had made 8th gen CPU's compatible with it I would be able to gold on to it for longer. Such a shame I will need to ditch it when I upgrade my CPU in the future.
Well it's 16gb of RAM that runs at 2400mz. Pretty standard. It works. Don't run into the issues I had when I had 8gb.
Haven't had any problems. Boot times are great.
For a blower style cooler it does a great job at keeping a 180w GPU cool. Rarely breaks 75C. And I got 3 games with it. That's always a plus. Even better after I under volted it, while being able to keep the same performance. Then for fun I overclocked and managed to get an almost 20% increase in benchmarks. But running 1080p ultra wide it was kinda not needed so I am just running undervolted.
Well I finally figured out after 2 years why I couldn't have the SPEC-01 on my original parts list. PCPP days that it is incompatible with the 212 EVO. I can confirm that is wrong.
Anyway good case for what I paid.
It works. No problems yet.
This is a great low budget ultra wide. And the 75hz makes a difference.
Great for the price. Haven't had any problems and the switches still feel great after 2 years.
Audio quality is pretty good. And the MIC is good. It's a great headset for the price.
Great price to performance. The liquid cooling really helps when in a long game session. Highly recommend.
