Description

This is my first build. It's primary function is a fast, reliable, 1080p gaming machine in an mATX form factor. For this purpose, it works perfectly.

The CPU cooler wasn't really necessary (as the it 6500 already comes with a stock fan and isn't overclockable), but good build overall.

non k cpu with a water cooler? It also is a closed window so it couldnt have been for looks. It also seems like theres a unnecessary gpu support? Anyways nice build

I got the cooler brand new from a friend for free. I figured it couldn't hurt. Plus it was a quite a learning experience installing it.

As for the closed window, I don't really care about looking at the guts of my machine too much. Plus the closed panel model of the case is quieter with both sides of the case having sound dampening.

After about a week, I noticed a fair amount of GPUsag. I did not want to risk any potentially breaking components so I added the support at that point.

So far so good. I play Fallout 4 and Doom both on Ultra with a solid 60 fps on Fallout 4 and 90-100 fps on Doom. I've only had one issue where a driver update was hosed whitch required a reinstall of Windows. Past that, no complaints.

Awesome build! I'm getting the same card, hopefully I can use the rebate before it expires, so I can get a $155 480.

Great build and choice of parts! Is it possible to put the AIO radiator at the lowest third in the front after opening the panel on the psu shroud? Thanks

The GPU support some of you were asking for seems to be this one.
