Description

Built this computer mainly for school work and some light gaming(League of Legends). Everything pieced together perfectly but Windows 7 is a pain to get updates. The MSI motherboard does require the new updated Bios to run flawlessly. Overall, this build was a great first time experience especially getting good deals on Black Friday!

Hey is you MoBo still working with that FX-8350? ive been reading lots of complaints using this MoBo, and i just bought it, and felt disapointed, been using the PC for a couple of days and no probs, but still im starting to feel worried about it.

Oh, My mother board is working just fine. no issues here. I think it really had to do with people not knowing how to install hardware.

No, no, no! This is what a SPEC-02 needs to look like on the inside!! Quick, fix the cabling before the Cable Management Cops see you!! ;)

No, not you, the OP. I try never to critique without an example, and the only builds I know I have permission to refer to are mine.

Haha, couldn't see the link you sent but this was my first build so I'm still learning. I got the majority of the cords and cables out of the way.

Oh wow! That's some nice cable management right there!

Thanks! Anyway, that's what I was talking about. Cable management is kinda like getting your car detailed, except it lasts longer and costs only time.

I took your advice and took the time to clean it up. I uploaded some new pictures of the revised version. Let me know what you think.

Looks like the Wraith on that FX8350. Didn't know they were shipping with the Wraith, only though that was the FX8370?

Yeap, It's the wraith cooler! It's the black box edition of the 8350 and I love it!

I think this will handle a bit more than light gaming (potentially GTA V if you lower the settings). Great budget build though +1

Absolutely, I agree! I just wanted to get the best parts but didn't want to kill the wallet either. It just worked out to my advantage that the good parts were on an awesome sale.

Great build! What frame rates are you getting?

Thanks Dave, I am not sure what the frame rates are as of yet. I have not decided what to play on it quite yet but will let you know once I figure it out. Is there a program you can run to figure these things out?
