Perfect. Just strand yourself on an island with this computer, electricity, internet, and an endless pack of skittles and you are all good.

Do you plan on upgrading to the latest and greatest hardware? An i7-3770K and dual GTX 680s seems old at this point, not going to lie. Also, you might want to consider upgrading to a newer OS because Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 7 after some time

I..think my heart stopped. Some day..some day..I shall build something like this. Of course I wouldn't claim it as my own though, that's just disrespectful. xD

So I'm looking into getting a triple monitor setup and I was just wondering how thin is the bezel on the monitors and does it bother you when you're gaming?

  • 2 points

Ughhhhhhh Nerdgasm. That's so amazing.

  • 2 points

Amazing build man! I watched your youtube videos and saw just how dedicated you were to this machine. A+ work :D I wanted to ask you about those monitors, how are they working for you? I've been shopping around for inexpensive IPS panels and I've stumbled upon this Dell display. So what are your thoughts? Anyways great build, and I hope to see more of your work :D

your list is very incomplete, need accurate prices and your missing a lot of your custom cooling in the custom list. part about reporting someone stealing your build is lame.

My buddy told me the Corsair speakers were highly rated. I just built a 'Bunker' Box for no. 1 son in the US Army using this site. So I look at the builds using it. And I find you. I know you are doing it "for the children". Kid using computer for educational purposes. (Truth is I had to re-do a box to run ArcGIS for my daughter.) Good Lord, Man! Freaking incredible. Work of Art. (How are the speakers? I guess by the monitor question, the Corsair's are better than the monitors?) Don't even look at my pictures. Work in Progress. SLI Card tomorrow UPS re do cables.

So where do you get the Dwood Pedestal

  • 1 point

Hey how is that monitor? Do you notice any input lag (due to the 7ms respond time)? or ghosting?

  • 1 point

Ever thought of using mountain dew as the coolant? you could use voltage flavour to match your colour scheme ;)

I hope your playing games other than Lego star wars on that machine. ;)

Wow. I'm speechless after seeing something so beautiful.

That build looks so sexy, when I'm out of college and have some money that's exactly how I want my computer to look. How are those speakers by the way? They look really nice, but I've heard they're pretty low quality.

Awesome build man. +1 for fooling me with that piece of painted acrylic/metal that the tubing disappears into. I totally thought you had a huge custom clear acrylic res down there. Flawless paint matching. Now let's just hope your fluid doesn't shift color on you like Jay's did.

  • 1 point

I really like the continuous blue theme, and that you got the coolant to be the same color as everything else. The fact that the tubes going down into the "floor" alone get me ogling, it almost looks like coolant is spilling out into a pool. Well done. +10

Awesome, repost with more pics! How did you get the tubing like that? I'm looking at making one myself.

  • 3 points

Thanks. It's acrylic tubing that's bent with a heat gun and a rubber hose insert. Check the link in my description for more pics and vids.

How loud does this run? +1 by the way, very cool build!

  • 1 point

About 27dB recorded with my Android phone (not the most accurate), from a meter away. 35dB up close with with side panel off. The fans are all running at 7V.

  • 1 point

Can you do a YouTube video of how loud the whole thing is? :D

  • 1 point

I'll be doing a vid soon on changing all the waterblocks and replacing the EX480 to an RX480 V3. Temps will be compared and noise will be measured.

Actually the Switch 810 is very symmetrical and is easy to rotate. I did a good amount of cutting/modding to get it to where it is though. Thanks!!

So where do you get the Dwood Pedestal

It looks empty for me like the case is used for only half of its potential. I like the design and parts it's just the emptiness for me that doesn't like it. Almost sad seeing wasted space.

Price updated. However there will be some changes to the water blocks. I'm waiting for Maxwell. Skipping 700 series GPUs for now.
