Description

I use this sucker to game and stream and do some work stufffs! I have a problem. I originally just wanted to upgrade my system from a 7600k to an 8700k but then I was like: well I can't have an 8700k and not have a good GPU and thus the gmaing trio x came into existence. Then the lighting was like what? gotta make that match better. I got a kraken cause its purdy and the Maximus was just a really good deal!! Now I want the Evolv X. Help me plz...

Nice build +1!! Are you gaming in 4k?? What games are you playing on it and how FPS are you getting on each game?

1440p here. Haven't tried too much atm played a bit of Rise of the Tomb Raider and at max settings its butter. DQXI is also great but I dont really see it as a great benchmark for GPU performance.

What program did you use to change the RGB on the RTX 2080? I have an EVGA card and have tried multiple times to change it and it will not change its color to match my theme..

I have an MSI so I used Mystic Light but I think the EVGA cards use Precision XOC I believe

I have precision installed and I keep trying to change the settings. There is no "apply" button when I do it, and if I exit and go back in, the rbg settings I changed go back to the default.. super frustrating. I will keep playing with it.

Any tips on cable management? Doing my first build soon.

Id get a good case that allows for easy cable management. Lots of zip ties and velcro, Use all the holes =p and definitely get a fully modular PSU

Hey, nice build. Did you have any problems fitting your ram in? I can't fit my ram in with the x52 at the top

  • 1 point

Thanks! Non problems with ram at all but the ripjaws arent the tallest ram out there though. I did switch out my case and some stuff though =) gonna post pictures when my rgb ram comes in! ( try putting your ram in first? the space between the ram and the fans should be enough on the meshify c)

God knows why mine won't fit in then. I thought it may have been the motherboards fault but the layout of ram slots look the same as yours. I've got the x52 rev 2 as well and corsair vengeance rgb

Can you fit a third fan in the front with that MSI gaming x trio?

hey man, awesome looking build. I have a question though, do you think i could fit the msi duke 2080 in the nzxt h500 case with that same AIO? It looks like the card might be too lenghty to be able to mount that radiator at the front of the case.

Hey, is there room to insert a wireless card under the Trio GPU? I am trying to figure out how to get a wireless card into a very similar build.

How did you connect the NZXT Hue 2 to power, did you use an adapter?

Ha ha ha! This guy's got jokes! Build another of this computer for less than 1k!? That's a RTX 2080 in there! That card alone is $800 and isn't going to go on sale for Black Friday or Cyber Monday. And that's assuming they will even be in stock come that weekend. So I guess good luck on getting the other parts on sale far enough that you can get the rest of the build for $200.
