Description

My friend gave me a 2700X as a present, and so I had to build a system around it. I built the rig for flight simulation. I run lockheed martin prepar3d V4, with a multitude of addons- orbx, envtex, PTA, REX skyforce, etc. I wanted to keep the whole build AMD and since I run three 1080p monitors, I wanted a reserve of GPU memory, so I picked up a Vega Frontier Edition (16gb HBM2 onboard) Never had a driver issue, the radeon pro software handles p3d just fine. I am so happy with this build, it takes the flight sim experience to another level.

Love The Build! Is the H500 as goo as the H700?

Not sure, my last build was in an S340 and the h500 appears to just be an s340 with glass and no SSD slots on the psu shroud. H700 looks like it has much more room, but for my puposes, the H500 is great. Not too big

get a yoke bro! Oh and nice setup. I would have recommended intel as a CPU choice because P3d usually runs on fewer threads and Intel would have majored more in that subject

had a yoke, hated it for two reasons: A: pain in the *** to type anything with a gigantic yoke in the way, and B. I like to fly helicopters too!

Yes, four 140mm fans

Are the first two fans inside the mounting cage? I'm just curious about the setup. When i tried it the top of the radiator was hitting the I/O panel on the top

do you use the gpu to game? and when its under load how loud does it get?

I use it to play prepar3d v4 flight simulator yes. Under full load it's audible, louder than the case fans, but not too ridiculous. Definitely not silent, but I have never had any problem dealing with a little fan noise.

How many Frames a second do you get in P3D?
