Description

First Build!

Coming from an Alienware 15 "gaming" laptop to this... It's a definite game changer

Purpose: Gaming (mostly competitive FPS such as Americas Army proving grounds), Movies & TV shows

Color theme: I wanted to match my wife's digital piano (white and black with a hint of red) and characterize it with a pop with 1080 tis ;)

Glad I went with blower style GPU because it is perfect for the 240 carbide: I can definitely feel all the hot air exhausting out the rear.

I got the I7 6700K because I got a deal on it and I heard it's not worth stepping up to kaby. Also, I'm lucky as I am able to OC 4.9ghz (I believe I won the silicone lottery?)

GPU easily overclocks to 2000mhz CPU comfortably overclock 4.8ghz

Note:Skullcandy grinds not in the pic.

Hey man nice build. Looks great. How difficult was it to bend the tubing on your CPU cooler to zip tie it down? I'm scared to bend mine too much. I was thinking of doing the same thing you are doing.

Hey thanks man!I tried to put the whole setup on here.It was a bit tough as the tube was quite stiff but it is doable. The version 2 is much better quality and sturdier tubing than the 1st version (based on my research) so it should be fine.

Thank you! haha I haven't researched too much on SLI yet...But I heard that only few games support SLI and it's better to run games with a single powerful GPU.
