Description

I would like to present "Akira" as you can see the theme is based off the movie. I chose this theme because it was the first anime I've ever watched. Therefore my introduction to loving anime, also an excuses to do a white and red build.

Where to start is the case itself. its the Anidees Cube case (white) it is perfect to build it but remember that space it tight and linted but very versatile. If you like that dual chamber look that can cut down in size, this is the case.

As for the MOBO. I like the aesthetic appeal of all the Aorus boards. Simple and clean. Plus im a big fan of gigabyte even though their Fusion software needs some work!

The CPU for this build is the 7700K. A solid CPU for gaming.

The memory i just bought whatever looked appealing to me!

The massive Aorus GTX 1080ti Xtreme edition.....casuse why not for gaming LOL.

What else to say.....oh, This build had a full custom loop and was 90% complete!!!with just the test fits and test bends lol!!! Due the amount of followers i have on my FB page a small but growing page of mine...https://www.facebook.com/Oraclepcb/ One of my followers reached out to me and offered to buy me a new AIO out of the blue! Which is freaking awesome and i refused at first but they insisted LOL. I'm extremely thankful to receive such a great gift to incorporate in the build! Yes the looped looked great in the case and in HONOR to them i installed the AIO and its perfect! Im not familiar with ID Cooling but they seem to have some nice products! I'm happy I was able to inspire someone to do their own build and work instead of buying a pre-build.

As for the custom work which includes the backplate, bottom, and fan grills. It's all done by the guy at https://www.jmmods.com/

Questions, Comments, Concerns.....yea ill get back to you lol

ENJOY!

DOPE BUILD But why the ******* 850W PSU

(just read the power needed for the gpu and **** my pants never mind)

  • 2 points

850w is more than enough for a 7700k and a 1080ti

You can easily run SLI off of 850w, don’t just go for bigger PSUs for big numbers. You’ll be putting more stress on it if you aren’t using it all

  • 1 point

Cause it what i wasn't using at the time. I could have put a 1200w in there lol

V E R Y N I C E B U I L D !! Custom modded cables, JMmods custom plates, very nice! I'm also getting some custom stuff done from Jeff over at JMmods (my SSD cover). I've got on order my GPU back plate too. Just curious though, what exactly did you get for the bottom plate for your PSU shroud? Is it just a plain RGB plate or something? I would like to do this but my PSU shroud has cutouts for the motherboard cables and the GPU cables, I would have to get Jeff to create a mold around the cutouts or something. This would look phenomenal in my Corsair Crystal 570x.

  • 2 points

Thanks! He does great work and i recommend him to alot of people! The bottom plate is not RGB. As far as a Corsair 570x i have a few of them im working on now currently

Just curious, what was the total cost? Besides the AIO, were any other components donated? I was surprised to see these specs at under $1000. Thanks, nice build!

How is the bottom floor of the case completely white and lit up like that? Do you have a diffuse layer with lights beneath?

Does this work well with well known games like fornite, apex, and rainbow six siege?

Dude your build is sick but your photos are crazy good. Ugh If I had this camera for the rig I just posted yesterday.....Ugh, i would kill it. God pictures make a HUGE difference. This looks so beautiful, but you can actually get justice for this system with pics like that. My pics didnt do my completed build any justice,....

It had a custom loop and honestly out of good will i felt obligated to do it without the loop. Again Thanks
