Hello everyone. For 2 years, I have been saving up, researching and planning my first ever PC. My PC has a main focus on gaming, but also recording and communication. Previously, I owned a Macbook Pro, and it wasn't impressive. Finally, after 3 years, I have a new PC. A lot has gone into this PC, but I can be proud to say that it is finally.
My PC is named DEAFaf, because I am deaf, and as a joke, I called my PC deaf, because it is very quiet. Not a catchy name, but I like it. My PC includes a GeForce GTX 1070 (MSI Gaming X), an Intel i5-6600k core, and an Asus MAXIMUS VII HERO ALPHA motherboard. Expensive, but worth it. When I began building, I was worried about eletric static, how it's going to break, e.g., but that never happened. I had help from my mum's friend, who was an expert in building PC's. He was impressed by me, since I did a lot of work in it. There were some few bumps on the way, but we managed to finish it. As we plugged it in first try, it worked great. However, as I plugged it into the monitor, I noticed something wrong - the graphics card wasn't on. So we had a few adjustments, and what do you know, it was working fine. Set up the PC, and all that. I haven't been able to test my PC, but I have tested Minecraft, and it ran over 60 FPS. I downloaded this mod, which is reportly able of running 30 fps on a GTX 980 Ti. My PC could handle 60 FPS, though a few drops occured, but hey, it's a mod.
So far, no problems. Loving the PC. I will let you guys know when I manage to get temperatures, rates, e.g
Oh, also, I'm Australian.
