Description

Hi all, months of saving up I have finally finished my second build and this one was quite an improvement to my first build that I built with my father 3 years ago. Pricing never really came into mind when I planned on building this, I really did want to go all out and build my dream setup. As a 19 year old, I am really proud to have built this myself with my own hard earned cash and in the end I think it was truly worth it. I know alot of people aren't too taken on the whole RGB craze but I think this PC looks really slick in the all white RGB lights. Originally I planned on buying a 1440p 165hz Acer Predator monitor but after seeing my neighbour's recently bought X34 1440p Ultrawide monitor I fell in love with it instantly. Some people don't like ultrawide but I think it really looks incredible in most titles but I think I will stick to playing 16:9 in fast paced shooters like CSGO. This is also my first time overclocking and I got my Ryzen 2700x to 4.1Ghz at around 78°C which isn't really that impressive, I'm sure I could get it to 4.2 but I'm not very comfortable with messing around with the voltages. I also added 70Mhz to my 1080ti without messing with voltages and that seems to be as much as it can go before it starts to crash in Heaven benchmark. The PC itself was quite fun to build but also frustrating at times but it worked out well in the end and I'm pretty pleased with how it looks. It was my first time making a real attempt at cable management and I think I did a decent job but I'm sure someone with more experience would be able to make it look a lot nicer on the inside. Overall I am super pleased with my build and It really is a dream come true to have this setup.

Your GPU is in the wrong slot.

Does it make a difference? They are both x16

Yes it does. Only the top slot is actually wired for x16.

Why would you route the CPU 8pin cable like that? Anyway, cool build! +1

It doesnt reach for some reason if i route it through the passages to the right of the motherboard so I brought the cable up from the PSU shroud under the GPU

You could buy an extension cable to make it reach but it's up to you ;)

Can you route it right above the place it plugs in. Thats what I did with mine.

What bios you on? I found when updating this board to bios 4011 the fan speed would keep going to 100% every like 5-6 seconds, even when pc was idle, was extremely annoying.

I have all my fans on 100% all the time so im not sure whats going on on your end. Im using the latest bios not sure what its name is, but before i set my fans to 100% i didnt have the problem you had

How do you have your fans set up?Are your top 2 fans and your 1 back fan your 140mm and then did you use your 3 120mm fans for your radiator?

  • 1 point

yeah i have 3 120s mounted on the front of the case and a 280 rad mounted behind them, looks a bit off i should of just bought a 360 rad but it actually gives the case a bit more room and temps arent an issue

So i should just go ahead and get a 360mm Rad for the front? Or do you think it would cut off some air flow? Im going to be using a Reference style card anyway

Nice job man! Looks good. Did you end up with extra fans?

i bought 4 120s and 2 140s, the case comes with 2 RGB 120s that i didnt use and the radiator also came with 2 140s that i didnt bother using. The fans that came with the case are corsair hd series

Hi! I'm interested in buying that case. Just a question: how are thermals on this case, how is the space for cable management, does it have adequate air intake and are there any dustfilters?

Thanks in advance! Any other commentary on the case besides my questions is appreciated!

its a really really goodlooking case but not the best to work with, the cable management behind the back panel is a bit of a mess but thats all hidden thankfully, tbh i would prefer to work with something like a define r6 but this case looks much better imo.

looks incredible and temps are fine but not the best case to work with cable-wise, if looks is your thing then i would recommend it for sure i am so happy with it
