Description

I primarily use this for gaming at 1080p and video streaming. Though due to my high count of engineering and development classes it also gets used for 3D modeling and other video and content creation. I use Autodesk Inventor for modeling and Adobe's lineup of products for graphics development. With some Cinema 4D in there. I upgraded my processor later on from the 6300 to an 8370 so there is a spare CPU. The GPU is an XFX from ebay, used but almost new. Cooler isn't the best so high temps galore. Im going to put aftermarket fans and thermal paste on it this summer. The Image with the screen in the side panel was some of my tinkering, I have gotten into hobbyist electronics and put an LCD panel into my side window. I removed it due to the high temperatures of a cheap LCD not benefiting my system at all and I didn't use it enough to be beneficial

Part Reviews

CPU

Plenty fast, its unlocked, stays cool with cheap coolers. All around worth it for the money.

Motherboard

I paid $48 and its been worth it, it lacks features and exceptional functionality but it gets the job done and bios looks like windows 98 bootloader

Memory

Fast, and compatible with my pre-existing HyperX 8GB. Nice transfer speeds. I have never managed to max out 24GB of RAM

Memory

Its great besides thermals, never thought RAM could get exponentially hot. This does it.

Storage

Fast and quiet for the cheapest 1TB I could buy

Video Card

Considering I paid half of retail, It was used. It is still great and plays Ultra at 60fps at 1080p just fine. I plan on upgrading this summer to a 580 most likely. I have enjoyed my time with this card but Ryzen and RX 580's call. I have loved this card through its many hours of use. It runs quiet and stays cool enough to function even overclocked.

Case

Its a $30 case with a window, I didn't expect much. After about 6 months the LED's are all but dead. The fans still work great and The airflow is awesome. Its a big open ATX that I have a mATX system in so the airflow is great and with a 3 intake 1 outtake system it always stays cool.

Power Supply

Despite running overclocked CPU's and GPU's already rated above its output wattage it has yet to crash or not deliver the proper amount of power. Works great and is quiet.

The clocks were hit with a window AC unit on max dumping air into the front and open side panel. Was tedious but stable with that cooling solution.

It has custom thermal pads and metal heatsinks on motherboard, not gonna burn it up. And I havent had a chance to take more pictures.

The budget was tiny, I work a summer job and also bought a car last summer. I don't think about it much tho to take pictures, I use it for gaming.
