Description

First of all I'd like to thank Paul at memory express for the help and what not. This is my custom blue gaming pc build, im using this for games like CS:GO, Mass Effects, Witchers, Portals, etc. In the future I plan on upgrading things like adding more ram, water-cooling the cpu and customizing the gpu power cables because they are currently rather ugly.

Part Reviews

CPU

Great cpu for the price and gaming, stays cool enough to not kill itself

Motherboard

Good Motherboard, 4 stars because a optical drive is necessary to install drivers as the internet is a driver.

Memory

Great ram, good price, misleading colour in the photo as they are much darker in person

Storage

Great drive for the low price, boots up windows in 10 seconds

Video Card

Got this gpu for a great price and so far no problems runs CS:GO at max 300fps

Case

Nice case, helpful with cable management only complaint is no 3 1/2 drive bays

Power Supply

Good power supply, not very helpful with cable management though.

Operating System

Its windows

Case Fan

Good fan great airflow, only complaint is loud

Keyboard

Good, no wrist rest so slightly uncomfortable.

Nice choice in parts. I would go with an ssd though.

Great build, but I think it'd would have been better to have an SSD, I would have liked to invest more in an SSD and get a smaller BenQ monitor

Nice build +1. Also, since nobody mentioned it, I think you should add an ssd to your build.

The mobo has 2 fan headers and looks like you have 3 fans, so I guess one is connected to the PSU?

If you wanted to install drivers (especially wifi) to your mobo w/o an optical drive just use a LAN cable, hook it up to your router, look up the program and install it. Then you're fine for anything else

Solid build overall. Some things I dislike: The MOBO is M-ATX but you have an ATX case No SSD

That's about it. Good job on your build. I DEMAND PICTURES
