I am so sorry for the iPhone quality photos.
I've built a PC before with my boyfriend. Well, sort of. My coworker came and helped us, and there were too many people so I had to leave. Anyway! It was only a matter of time until I built my own. After some skrimping and saving, it's finally complete!
I have to admit, I was pretty damn proud that I built this thing completely on my own, considering I didn't really pay attention during the first build. It was surprisingly easy. Although, cable management in this case was rather frustrating. So, aesthetically, the inside is not so great. Perhaps I'll take a weekend to redo the inside. I was just really excited to get it up and running.
This build is absolutely, entirely for gaming. While it may not be the recommended standard for Fallout 4, I'm still relatively new to gaming, so I've got lots of catching up to do. I mostly want to be able to play modded Skyrim, which will most likely be the most taxing on my system. I was originally planning on getting the GTX 950, but my boyfriend wanted to get the new Assassin's Creed anyway. Considering the promotion, and the fact that he would pay the difference, I was perfectly content with going up to 970!
I had to go with a pink case. Sorry, I just had to. I wanted something more exciting than black or white. It's not the best case, admittedly, but it sure is pretty. Plus, with five fans, there sure is a good amount of air flow.
Crap keyboard for now until I can afford another one. I definitely plan on getting a mechanical keyboard in a month or two. Oh... and a desk.
