Description

This is the pc that i use for gaming. It's not too powerful, but enough for me. It's been in the making since the february of 2018 when this was a Ryzen 3 2200g only build. Now it looks and performs much better!

How's the card treating you?

It's great! It handles every game i throw at it, at 1080p, high-ultra settings over 70 fps with no issues.

Thanks! I like that color scheme, but a lot of people use it so i wanted this to be a bit more unique.

Nice build! I'm just curious, why G.Skill RGB over Corsair Vengeance Pro? Personally, I find the odd shape a little distracting.

Thanks! I was considering the Corsair RAM but this just looks better to me. The Corsair and Kingston ones are a bit boring IMO. But to each their own.

No problem! I'm always excited when someone comments! I hope the same for you too! May your framerates be high and temps low.

Thanks! I paid a bit more than it says here, i think about 850 euros just for the PC, because i bought the GPU when the prices were a bit crazy.

Nice work. I have that exact same RAM kit, and love it.

What software do you use to control the RGB? The ram looks great in particular.

I use asus aura for the ram and gpu, corsair icue for the case fan and the bios for the cpu fan. Thanks, i just got it yesterday and i'm still in awe.

Thank you! I was a bit unsure about the name, i'm glad you like it!

team red for the win!! this build looks great but you should get a custom gpu backplate , they can go a long way aesthetically. +1

Woooo! Amd is awesome! Thanks, i actually have the acrylic and paint. I was going to put black paint and white text on it, but i figured it would look weird because even though white reflects lights well, i still think it would look more white than anything else. And a color like blue for example wouldn't work since i change colors all the time. So i didn't do it.

you should just make it all black just to cover up the pcb bc that would look good

  • 1 point

Nah, that would look boring imo, the exposed pcb looks better than just an all black piece of acrylic. If i want to make a backplate, i gotta personalize it a bit, like put my name on it.

How did you acquire the light up amd cooler?

I got it on ebay for like 15 euros. If you're going to buy it, make sure that your motherboard has an rgb header.

Thanks, I've been asking around for a while and just thought it came stock with the first gen ryzen processors. (Love the look of the pc btw)

It does come with the R7 1700. Thanks!

have you OCed your gpu/cpu? I have the same gpu, and can get 1430 core, 2050 mem with stock voltages. I've pushed 1470 core, 2065 mem, with maxed voltage. At that point, its better than a 580!

Love the colors btw!

I haven't OCd anything actually. I'm satisfied with the performance, and my fps is limited to 70 anyway because of my 72hz monitor. So i won't be gaining anything with an OC. But damn, those are some nice numbers, i might do it just for some benchmarks! What's your score in 3dmark firestrike?

  • 1 point

12208, https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/31051177 Thats my 1430 + 2050. I lucked out and got Micron VRAM, instead of the usual bad elpida. Got 4420 in time spy. I'm too lazy to run the 1470mhz OC, but it runs furmark no problem.

Ah okay, mine is 11567 on stock so not too bad https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/33998414? Also, this is with old ram so this new one might be a bit better because it's 3200 mhz compared to 2666 mhz i had before.

well thats becuase you have a higher cpu score, if we just look at graphics: 15247 (me) vs 13655 (you) so roughly 10% increase, which in line with the 10% extra freq.

Now that’s hot! How does the single pc fan do you?

Thanks! I have another one in the front, but it's not rgb. So one intake, one exhaust, the temps are fine and there's not a lot of noise

AHHHHHHHHHH that’s hot. Anyways, it’s a great build. Love the look and the name fits pretty well. Love that you chose a 570. So many people are getting Nvidia cards and it gets boring. I have he same card in my build and I can agree with the FPS rates. Love the build +1

Thanks! Man i'm so glad people like the name, i just though of it in 3 seconds because i didn't know what else to write hahah. And yeah the 570 is awesome, i don't need anything more for now.
