So a year after I made my first custom rig, I've built another - and this one is a reasonable upgrade, in my books.
Heavily overclocked Ryzen 2700x & GTX 1080, 32GB of RAM, And some LED fans to boot.
The Mouse and Keyboard came free with the monitor - and they're pretty neat, too!
Prime 95 took the Ryzen all the way up to 74 degrees - but it was stable during testing, and this rig also passed other benchmarks from furmark, cinebench, unigine, powermax, etc - So I'm happy.
That USB cable that's poking out of the bottom of the rig in one of the pictures, there wasn't any other way of routing it. I'll probably look to hide that later on, via a vertical gpu installation.
Let me know if you have any questions about this rig - I'm just happy to be able to finally game in 144hz!
Solid, works like a charm.
Kinda tricky to install, performs well.
Overclocks well, good with 2nd gen Ryzen.
Solid Gaming storage.
Fantastic, Quick boot drive.
Reliable storage HDD.
Beautiful card. Takes punishment, prints fps.
Not for the faint of heart. Fantastic case but it'll wreck your s*** if you walk into it casually.
No, you can't put the rear 140mm Riing fan in the top front.
Great PSU, way more than I need - but hey, at least now i have a backup psu.
I got this for free but I've already spent $5000NZD so f it, why not list it.
Tricky to install, sound quality is gorgeous.
