I built this PC mostly for CAD use in college and some ease of use that also includes gaming. Obviously works great for gaming though in that I eventually got a Titan X (Maxwell) for super cheap used. Got a score of 3722 on Superposition running at 1080p extreme, as my panel is only a 1080p panel and I hope to eventually upgrade long down the line. Runs 99% of games great but is going to require a GPU ugprade to a newer Titan or at least a 1080ti or 20 series card eventually but will be good as the GPU and technical single RAM stick are my only possible bottlenecks.
Absolutely great CPU. Not the K as I won't be overclocking any time soon and can just upgrade my CPU by then.
Great cooler that comes with excellent fans and easy to use software. The minimal RGB is a nice touch and just looks nice.
Excellent motherboard lacking absolutely nothing major besides actual thunderbolt 3 on the usb 3.1 type c.
Great RAM. RAM is RAM, just wish I'd bought a second one.
Excellent size for general use and as a game drive.
Excellent GPU with more than enough specs to keep me going for a long time.
Really nice case. Makes excellent use of all the space separating the motherboard and power supply also makes for super clean looking cable management.
Really great power supply. Greatly appreciate the sleeved cables but kind of wish I'd bought a higher wattage for more upgrade-ability.
Windows is Windows. Wish I didn't have to pay for it....
Super great fans, really quiet and excellent speeds.
A great monitor. Could have gotten a 1440p monitor but but necessarily at 144Hz and I appreciate being able to use this monitor with my Xbox One X every now and then for the variable refresh rates.
Very tactile keyboard with mechanical Romer-G switches and looks great with the solid red backlighting and I really appreciate the dedicated media switches.
Just a secondary mouse for the use of the programmable buttons on the side, the RGB but with a completely different software is okay.
Excellent mouse. Nothing special with extra buttons or anything. Great RGB with easy to use software.
Super great headphones that work great wireless even with a phone with usb OTG. Decent mic and great battery especially when the RGB is disabled.
Excellent soundbar in general but works great as computer speakers when using the toslink optical audio.
Great little part from EVGA just for a little bit of extra cable management.
Very good add to any built that isn't running a SSD or just wants a faster booting game drive HDD anyways.
Finished my build then realized to control the fans properly to begin with I had to do it in the UEFI so I got this for Christmas. Easy to use software and I LOVE being able to place my fans over a side view of my case.
