I have always wanted to build my own computer and I finally was able to save the money to justify buying the pieces. I must've changed my parts list for over 2 months before I purchased my first component, but I'm glad I waited. I couldn't be happier with my build. I went in with just information I had been obsessively reading over the past few months and I didn't have any trouble putting it together. Once everything was plugged in, it booted up like a champ.
I really wanted a smaller form factor build so I went with the mATX build. I absolutely love how sleek you can make everything look by simply reducing the open space inside of the case. I wasn't too crazy about RGB, so I went with the subtle RGB on the RAM, GPU, and AIO.
I ordered custom cables, but unfortunately, they were lost on their way to me. I simply couldn't wait so I built with what came with my parts and did my best to hide cables.
Since it's this was in my first build, I don't really have much to compare it to. So far I haven't had any trouble and installation was easy. I bought this because I'm a moderate gamer and I am going to use this as my personal PC as well. I was torn between this and the Ryzen 2600X, but I thought this would better suit my needs. Seems to be able to handle anything I've thrown at it so far (Fornite, Civ 5, AOE2, WoW)!
So far I'm really happy with this AIO. I bought this for the looks and better customer reviews compared to NZXT. I have a mATX build and it was a little bit of a pain to install and the tubes are very rigid. Pretty happy with how it turned out. The instructions were a little bit challenging because they didn't give much information, but online reviews/videos helped a bunch. I mounted my fans (the ones that came with the cooler) to the case blowing air into the radiator. My GPU is a blower so the little bit of extra heat from the air passing through the radiator is no issue.
Looks fantastic, easy to install, but had an issue getting ASUS Aura to work right. Had to download, reinstall a ton of times, and turn off fast boot (this solved it) in order for it to work. That's my only knock for this product.
Expensive, but that's how RAM is nowadays. Looks great and seems to run perfectly fine so far. Perfect for subtle RGB builds like my first build.
Bought for my OS, does its job.
Cheap and does it's job well.
It took me a while to decide on a GPU, but I think I got the best one for my needs. Since this was my first build I didn't know how the GPU prices were before so this seemed like an OK deal for me. I went with the FE because I wanted to remove the air from my mATX instead of the heat dissipating into the case. Handles everything I've thrown at it so far and I'd say I'm a moderate gamer.
Honestly one of the favorite parts of my build. It looks fantastic and I was able to fit all the components I wanted in it. I wish FD offered a normal tempered glass mATX, not the dark TG, but oh well. I love the design and it looks great on my desk.
Get's the job done. Came with all the cables I needed plus many more.
