Description

What's up ya'll?

I've never built a computer personally before but have always wanted to.

The last custom PC I had my friend build for my consisted of these components..

CoolerMaster HAF 912, AMD Phenom II X6 1055T, Radeon HD5770, 2x4GB Corsair XMS & MSI Fireboard

-- During 2012, they were great but as time grew on. My passion for PC gaming also faded and midway through 2013-2015 I was completely into console gaming, specifically PS4.

Needless to say, a good friend of mine brought me back into PC gaming by purchasing me a copy of Overwatch. Another good friend recommended me to check out PC Part Picker and that's how this contagious affection started... One purchase led to another and after 6 months, I'm here.

Completed and ready to game at 144hz WOOOOOOOOOOOO

This thing is an absolute beast, hitting over 200 FPS on Overwatch with relatively high settings.

Part Reviews

CPU

Best bang for buck out there. This thing is an absolute beast!

Motherboard

So far so good, managed to get my Ram to 2933Mhz with the newest bios update 08/02/17

Got it for real cheap on Newegg. Can't complain.

Did I mention that this thing looks stunner? Black/Grey theme. WOOT

Memory

Nice looking ram with subtle white led. Great contrast in my build.

Got it running to 2933Mhz without a hitch too

Storage

Great SSD! Good speed and affordable.

Video Card

Great little graphics card that packs a punch. - Affordable too (Prior to gpu craze)

Case

Nicest looking case out there and super easy to work on. Especially for first timers like me. The plastic clips in the back allow me to tuck all the wires in with ease.

Power Supply

10 year warranty, ultra quiet, & included cables are black?

What more could you want.

Monitor

The colours a bit washed out but 144hz at an affordable price, I'm happy.

It's great!

I'm using a 144hz 1080p monitor and I can play on high/ultra settings over 144fps on Overwatch if that matters to you.

The stock cooler is quite limited tho, I would recommend getting a Cryorig H7 or CoolerMaster 212 Evo if you plan on overclocking past 3.8Ghz
