Set out to see what kind of budget gamer I could build off of EBAY. Only new Items were case and power supply. I would say not a bad little gamer for 500.00 bucks. plays most titles on high-ultra at 1080p well over 60fps.
You got a heck of a deal.
i got that same case
I like the case. Only downside is the front audio jacks don't work. I've tried every thing. Unplugging the audio header, reinstalling realtech drivers and everything. Still can't get it to work.
check the motherboards audio drivers/software package (downloaded from the manufacturers website). I had a similar issue on my Z370E board from ASUS - can't remember exactly which settings, but i downloaded the boards supported audio apps and disabled something at anothers request - it worked!
To make life easier - join MSI forums and ask the comms there. you'll get better luck with experienced users of the same board.
For $500 - nice build!!
oof that happened to my old mobo so i had to get a 3.5mm to usb adapter
This is an insane build dude. All this for $500! A few months ago this would be an $700-$1000 build.
lol yup, thankfully prices are starting to go down again
You got a working 1060 6GB for $138.00?
That's pretty crazy, most of them are selling for closer to $190-200 used.
You have to stay on top of ebay. If you have time to watch you can find some crazy deals. It took me about 3 weeks to get everything for the build.
I saw a ZOTAC 1070 go for 201.00 last week. If I would have had the money I would have jumped all over that one lol.
Those fans are sexy af.
I've got myself the same case, motherboard, and CPU. Good combo.
wow nice build might actually use most of these parts
Which aigo fans are those? They look awesome
Thank you. Were they on sale when you got them for $29.99?
might be the wrong ones. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Aigo-Aurora-DR12-3IN1-Kit-3pcs-RGB-LED-120mm-High-Performance-Case-Cooling-Fan/273244925172?hash=item3f9eaaacf4:g:J1EAAOSwWe1bDmpm
this should be the correct kit.
