Description

I am so excited to share this build with you guys. Building a PC has been on my bucket list for a long time, finally I have got a chance to do it.

I mainly use this PC to play games, I really like NZXT H440 Case, it has a lot of room to work with. I have watched a lot of YouTube videos on how to build a PC, so overall, everything went smoothly.

Great card, I think its the cheapest GTX 1070 you can get so far!

Very clean build. I really like the all-white case and the black and white theme. I'm actually looking for a case for a white build for my wife and this build makes me lean towards the H440. I also like the components you picked as well, should be an awesome gaming rig at a very decent price point.

Was the 550w enough for the 6600k? Planning to get a seasonic 550w for the same cpu. GJ by the way.

Nice build! I have the same motherboard, and I have to say, the yellow LED's on the left of the PCI lanes of the motherboard look pretty bad. Even though the motherboard is fantastic, I don't see why MSI could not have made it red or white at least. Don't know what you think, and I might be exaggerating, but it bothers me a bit. I would like to know your personal feelings towards the motherboard. But seriously, that is a stunning first pc build.

The yellow LED is kinda dim on my Motherboard, but it's still noticeable. First time I hooked it up on PSU, I was like "What the heck?!! Is that yellow?!" lol. My ultimate goal of this PC is to have a custom water cooling loop and NZXT Hue+ ROG lighting kit installed. So hopefully tubes and some lighting could cover that Yellow LED strip up.

I was thinking about a custom loop, but I didn't really want to do it in my Phanteks p400. Maybe in the future I will get the new corsair crystal 460x case and do a custom loop in there. GL on your loop!

The GTX 1070 is quite new, so it possible they have not produced it yet. However, you might want to check with asus if maybe the founders edition water block will fit on your GPU. If it is a reference PCB, the FE should fit, but make sure first.

Nice build, but you definitely need a better cooler cause 73C is oh hell no territory and it'll kill your paste in a year. Other than that I love the build.

how hot does the GPU get underload? if you don't know a software that tells you that i use MSI afterburner, im looking for a 1070 and this is a consideration, i want to know if it gets hot or not
