Description

As you can tell from the title, yip. Some people say I did pretty good for a first time builder. Most people say it isn't very good *cough vagabond139 cough*.it boots up in about 6 seconds, which is outrageously awesome. what do you think?

Part Reviews

Motherboard

when it came it had a slight bend but pressing on it for a few minutes fixed the problem

Memory

only 1stick for expansion space

Storage

i read that the maximum read speed was 330around, but when i got mine, in crystaldiskmark it said the read speed was 546?!

Video Card

not a gamer, so nothing really bad here

Case

an awesome case for the price!

Power Supply

enough watts for what im doing and it hasnt failed yet

Optical Drive

makes this weird ticking noise when i turn on the computer but it goes away after and it works

Wireless Network Adapter

loses connection sometimes and doesnt support 5ghz

Case Fan

got the red version. They are quiet and they look sweet

Monitor

cheap 27in 1080p monitor. alright!

Keyboard

not the most ergonomic keyboard and mouse. and i sometime find my hands sore after some use, but it was only $20

sush_patoosh submitter 1 Build 1 point 45 months ago

for what i do (surf web, watch videos, and play racing games) it is superb!

DouvleX 1 point 40 months ago

lol if you're not gonna game on it why have 8gb of ram and gtx 750TI. Great build tho

kmno22 1 point 37 months ago

It's just the normal 750 not 750 Ti (I read it closely)

DouvleX 1 point 37 months ago

Still overkill, you could've just went with the integrated graphics.

kmno22 1 point 37 months ago

True. But maybe he wants to play dirt 3 or need for speed at ultra. He did say he likes playing racing games. But still overkill. If he were playing other games and things I could see this being a good price for money but for what he does it's kinda extremely overkill.

Shrimpo 1 point 34 months ago

Ram is for things other than games lol

DouvleX 1 point 34 months ago

Ik but 4-6gb is enough for what he's going to do

Shrimpo 2 points 34 months ago

It's more of a future-proofing measure, in case he wishes to run heavier programs. Either way, getting a 4gb stick will only save him about $15 anyways.

I know this build is like 399391892312379348 years old and all... but while looking through reviews I read this

loses connection sometimes and doesnt support 5ghz

m8, if the wifi card isn't supposed to support 5GHz then it doesn't support it. That's the wifi card. It's YOUR problem that you didn't choose one with 5GHz. I see stupid reviews like this everywhere, don't dis a product if it doesn't have a feature you need - next time spend a little more on something that has that feature. The losing connection bit is a good point.
