Description

First Build i needed a windows computer to run programs i am currently using in School and wanted a good build in case i wanted to game occasionally.

CPU: Awesome always on 30 degrees idle it only goes up to 43 when playing Shadow of Mordor everything on Ultra.

CPU COOLER: No Complaints does the job.

Motherboard: I think i shouldve a waited could have picked up a 5820k combo at frys if i wouldve waited but i bought the mobo when it had a sale on newegg before buying cpu

G.Skill : bought for red and black theme

Storage : SSD is Fast computer satrts up in 5 seconds even with fastboot offf

Graphics Card : GTX 980 is a monster was originally going to buy a 970 but i had the money to buy a 980 dont regret it this thing is amazing the fans havent even turned on when playing games on ultra like Fallout New Vegas and Shadow of Mordor highest temp has been 53 fans dont turn on till it hits 60 havent seen that yet.

Case : 300r came with the cougar fans overall is kinda loud but i dont mind i got the deal for 35 dollars after rebate.

Lol this is what I don't go for 800$ gaming PCs. They are not future proof imo and they are not that powerful. Even my friend has gotta agree on this!

If it fits in your budget, it's a budget build technically :D

Nice build, but I would not really say this is a budget build b/c its more than $1000. But it looks like a great build, with very nice parts!

idk i see your point but i decided to include every part i use because most of the builds when you see o youtube dont include the price of monitors or keyboards and what not and i think i got a pretty good high end for the price

I'm not saying you didn't get a great build for the money, You got a great price, and you have a powerful system for $1,300. Just a suggestion for the future, as your mobo is not SLI compatible, you could have upgraded to 2 980's in the future. Cheers!

To everyone saying that this isn't a budget build, go look up the definition of "budget". It doesn't mean dirt cheap, dirt cheap means dirt cheap and the OP did not label this as a cheap build.

The dictionaries i'm looking at agree that, when used as an adjective, "budget" implies "of low cost".

When used as a noun/verb, it can mean any amount of budget, but the adjective form, in all the usage I've seen and the dictionaries I'm seeing, always implies it's something cheap.

The red accents on the motherboard and the orange custom fans clash pretty agressively. Build is nice, but it screams gamer especially with the red led fans in the front.

Budget honestly just means using money towards a max limit and not spending anymore based on their income. lt doesn't necessarily have to mean low expenditure.

That's the denotative meaning of the word budget. But the understood connotative meaning of budget build in the pc community means around the same price ( or even a hundred more than a console ). Just saying

l understand that but l am just here to keep it simple bro.
