GPU - Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2080Ti Xtreme:
In my opinion, one of the most amazing looking 2080Ti card out there. Decided on it even though its thermal is a lackluster.
MOBO - Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Master:
Feature-packed and competitively priced. Was tempted to get Z390 DesignNare, but figured the aesthetic of the Aorus Master matches my GPU better.
CPU - Intel Core i9 9900K
My old 6700k is getting very low frame rates for Minesweeper. Hence, decided to get the king of CPU for Gaming. Can't wait to sweep more mines =)
CPU Cooler - NZXT Kraken x72
Not sure whether it is an upgrade or downgrade. Swapped my Kraken x62 for a x72. Though the x62 only has a 280mm radiator, it consistently outperforms the x72. Decided to jump the gun purely because a 360mm radiator with 3 fans looks better in my build.
RAM - G.Skill Trident Z Royal!
Well, there are no lack of criticisms in the reviews for these RAMs. But, I personally think they look out of the world! Hoping to make my build standout by avoiding hot favorites like Trident Z RGB and Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro.
PSU - Seasonic PRIME 860w
What beats a Seasonic? 80-PLUS Titanium with CRAZY 12-Years warranty. Coming from Seasonic Platinum Series (SS-860XP2), I am sold to the reliability of Seasonic's PSUs.
SSD - Samsung NVMe 970 Pro
Yes, I know 970 Evo has better value. But, why not go for the top of the range when I already spent so much on other components?
CASE - Lian Li PC-011 Dynamic
I have always been a NZXT fanboy. As you can see, I included their Kraken, Aer 2, Hue 2, Grid+, and Internal USB Hub, in this build. When I was planning my build, I was almost certain that I will go for the H700i. What swayed my decision are all the amazing PC-011 DX builds on PCPP. I could not convince myself to give this gorgeous case a pass. No regrets at all.
UPGRADES - This system has definitely burnt a hole in my pocket. I guess I will not be spending anymore $$ on it in the next 3 to 6 months. In time to come, I hope to:
swap the current 3 x RF-FN122-RB for RF-AF120-B1 (Aer F120)
add-on a 1TB WD Blue 1TB SSD (or something better if I can spare the cash)
get a new set of tri-colour custom sleeved cables from ensourced
and of course, a better Gaming Monitor (maybe a ROG Swift or Acer Predator)
Will be adding more photos soon! Feel free to leave your comments =)
