Description

I use this pc for gaming and only gaming. The parts i have chosen are very carefully to include all the necessary and usable features and not to add any luxury that I will not probably use. I have a 1080p monitor and this machine maxes out all the games I have played so far.

Let me know how you rate this build keeping the budget and the 1080p monitor in consideration. Feel free to correct me.

Part Reviews

CPU Cooler

Serves its purpose quite well. For the price it is actually one of the best one in its segment.

Motherboard

I have certain issues with this mobo. if you are a heavy overclocked this is not one for you. I have noticed that the read/write speed of the bus is not that high if you compare it with Asus or MSI. Sometimes all the USB 3.0 jacks stops working abruptly and then you need to re-install drives. I would suggest to but a 990FXA series board rather than this.

Video Card

For 1080p gaming I would definitively recommend this card. Almost everygame you can max out the settings feel no lag. For me 30 fps is playable and this one has the min fps count 33 recorded in Assasin's creed unity (one that has worst optimization in PC).

No idea what the price was for you. I could guess the total was around $550~650, build alone. I have no idea since the prices were not preset yet. So I have a difficult time to understand if this is considered best bang for the budget when it's in default prices by PCPP and two parts have no prices, temporarily. I'm sure it will change since you know the database changes often with those online stores. So maybe you managed great deals somewhere else which could be possible budget.
Looking at the parts, it looks OK. From the photos, I see it inside so it looks good and knowing you have a Seasonic PSU is great. Good job with your build. +1

Completely disregarding prices and knowing that all you want is to game at 1080p on a single monitor (I have no idea of the size) you have the parts to do it very well.

You do know that your cpu cooler is just blowing all that hot air on your gpu? The fans have those plastic pieces connecting to the middle, that's one way to tell the direction.

Thanks for your comment. I have changed the direction of cpu cooling fans, the direction of hot air is now upwards to the case fans which serves as exhaust.

Is that a keyboard and mouse combo? It kinda looks like the thermaltake gaming combo or something but more badass.

DRAGON WAR GKM-001 SENCAIC KEYBOARD & MOUSE COMBO SET

You can search for this. I got a good deal in my city so grabbed it. Advantage is it has semi-mechanical keys and the connections are gold plated. Wires are also nylon braided. Its tough armor for a budget gamer like me.

PS: It has backlit lights also, that too 3 colors and you can turn it off as well. :P

I would go with the 8320e over the 6300.

That will be my upgrade option. I was on a tight budget that time. :)

I think I will wait for a more beefier cpu in coming times from AMD.

Better cable management than I could ever do. I would of gone with a GTX 1050 Ti and a FX-8350. But nice build.

Thanks for acknowledging this. I have changed the direction of cpu fan. Regarding upgrade, I am waiting for a new AMD cpu and will upgrade the motherboard with the latest gaming chipset of that time.
