About 2 years ago, I was short on cash and wanted a PC, the result, A disgusting PC that barely booted. I now have a new pc titled "The Red Dread" which is also on this site. Looking back I laugh at how stupid of a buyer I was.
CPU: Celeron g1840 Got a $50 amazon gift card for my birthday, its what I could get
Motherboard: This is a fun one, It was Almost this exact board, but had a mini pci-e port like a laptop, I can't find this board anymore. This thing had me unplugging 24 pin and plugging it back in many times just to get the system to power on. It would also turn itself on sometimes.
RAM: 4gb, it worked. My friend sold me this, the mobo, and case for $50.
Storage: Taken from an old laptop, worked well enough.
GPU: Bought from another friend, was probably the nicest part of the build. But I couldn't find the PCI bracket for the case, So it had to be duct taped in place. This isn't the exact same card as the card I bought also came out of a prebuild.
PSU: Bought to see if it would solve the Power Problems, It didn't.
Case: THE CULPRIT. I'm not exactly sure how, but this killed the motherboard, I put a different rig in that case and it wouldn't turn on, but after testing it worked in a different case, and it wasn't the IO Power button, as I use that as a power on tester now and It works fine.
Basically Stay away from cheap prebuilds if possible, bad Mojo.
The Picture was the only one I could find of this build. I only have the Cpu, and keyboard left from this build, Neither of which are in use, I threw the broken motherboard away after destroying it with a hammer and throwing it as well as running over with a bike. The HDD and PSU were used in my next build. The GPU was lightly used in my later build before being sold on ebay and being replaced with a 750ti. The case is currently sitting in my garage and i'm gonna turn its metal in for scrap money.
Please feel free to Roast this disgusting PC in the comments.
