What am I going to do with all of this room, you ask? I'll put a 12 inch statue of Goku in it, an Elderscrolls potion lamp, and I guess some computer parts. ;)
Please feel free to ask me anything The Goku statue just so happens to be the perfect height to prevent GPU sag, resting on his wristband I use an NZXT usb hub for extra usb connections, using supplied velcro tape strips to support it. Here is a link to the Skyrim potion touch lamp https://www.thinkgeek.com/product/imro/ I cannot find the glass corner desk anywhere on the internet. I found it at an office depot in march of 2018 on sale for $300 and jumped on it. No brand listed on packaging or assembly instructions. The custom red AIO sleeves are from cablemods but be warned.. good luck getting the black clips on after putting the sleeving on. Having the AIO installed or not, it is still a total pain getting those black clips on, so I decided without the clips. The sleeves wrap and hold tight enough to where you cannot tell on the ends where black clips are required. https://cablemod.com/product/cablemod-aio-sleeving-kit-series-2-for-evga-clc-nzxt-kraken-red/ I use four corsair led light strips to shine up the case components https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811978003&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= A case this size can handle some serious water cooling. I won't get around to that until some years later in a next upgrade. Looking back, I wish I would've chosen a different case, preferably the D Frame 2.0 https://www.in-win.com/en/gaming-chassis/d-frame-2 but the Obsidian 900D is amazingly easy to work with when installing your components, especially the daunting task of cable management. The most difficulty I've had with this case was installing the GPU. You'll need a very small screwdriver to secure the case bracket, as there is no room between the case frame and the screw to fit a smaller screwdriver. Again, very large case, it will be your next piece of furniture. It gives you the obligation to fill it up with fancy cool things to display and show off. It is just fun. I experience a bottleneck in performance when using a 1080ti combined with a 1080p 24 inch monitor. The solution is an asus PG2798QZ https://www.amazon.com/PG279QZ-Ergonomic-G-Sync-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B07HZSBW7V . Very affordable considering the specs The bottleneck is a 30-80% gpu usage with a 100% cpu usage at default resolution in games. Upscaling to 2k/4k resolution in the NVCP helps this problem, and so does increasing the resolution scale in-game. 1080p @ 100 resolution scale in games will land you a bottle neck with this setup. The 1080ti begs to be pushed to its full potential, this should be a powerful card for years to come.
