Description

Hello all,

This is my 4th PC but it is my first ever custom build PC. (Other three were prebuilt)

It all started 2 month ago when my Dell XPS had a hard drive failure, I started buying a replacement HDD and upgraded some old parts to a more modern, efficient components...

Then while doing research online on compatible parts, watched some Youtube channels on everything related to computer...I goes "Why not build my own pc"

Thank you very much for watching.

I love the black and red color scheme and it is very clean inside. Also, the MSI dragon decal looks cool with the case. Great build and you have my one.

The only thing I have issue is the threading for the case screws. Overall I would recommend this case.

I've gotta agree there. I wasn't sure if it was just my case but some of the "thumb screws" needed a screwdriver

I have a build in the S340 (H440's little brother) and it's great! Very easy to build in so I can only imagine the H440 is too as they have very similar designs.

Thank you and what would you like me to explain?

wat are u doing in that last picture?

cant quite make out if that's: picture editing, 3D modeling or Video- Game development.

Ah..It's a 3d modeling process. - Modeling a 3d scene (3ds Max/Maya or any similar programs) - Texturing/Rendering a 3d scene (Build-in rendering or 3rd party programs. Eg. Vray) - Export a finished render to Editing program for color correction. (Photoshop or any similar programs)

What can I say, too immaculate!! I'm a fan too of using 2.5" HDD's, less bulk.

I don't expect to see another fan (other than me) of using 2.5" instead of 3.5" hdd :)) Thank you for your feedback.

How is the network card working for you? I'm thinking of getting the same one but I want to know if its worth it.

  • Speed is incredible, no stutter, no lag, 2.4 GHZ and 5 GHZ.
  • Installation was straight forward..No driver install required.
  • I have heard a coil whine three times in two months but that is fine with me.

Would you recommend the MSI Z170 Gaming Pro, or the one you have? :p

Also, can you send me some youtube links to how you can put a decal onto your case?

Fantastic build! Were the stock case fans loud on this case? The new ones look awesome, but just wondering.

Thank you. They weren't loud at all but for better performance and aesthetics, I replaced them with Corsair fans.

Overkill psu for a gtx970, r9 390 cost the same and it's better; and at the price better get a samsung sm951 than 850 pro.

  • 1 point
  • I bought it on sale. It was actually cheaper than AX760 so why not :)
  • As a 3d Modeler I would prefer Nvidia over AMD for GPU. It performs better or maybe I'm wrong.
  • You're right. The only thing I don't like about sm951 is the green color :) If I can go back in time I would pick the 950 PRO M.2.

Yeah..that's the only downside of the STRIX 970. Other than that, it performs very well either in 3d programs or in games.
