Description

Georgia's first taste of the master race - a clean 4K gaming system for our living room.

Parts list + discussion here: https://youtu.be/vtxIuKOnk7c

She wanted to keep this nice and compact but still house a nice looking AIO and show off some custom sleeving.

The GTX 1070 is definitely not capable of 4K/60fps in AAA titles, but she's mostly playing lighter titles like Overwatch, Skyrim, and Rocket League for now. We've found that disabling anti-aliasing for some games has helped boost performance tremendously and with a negligible difference in performance.

Any questions - feel free to post them below!

Damn that's pretty. We really don't see enough high end mATX builds on here - best form factor IMO. +1 for Glorious MicroATX Master Race

Lovely clean build man. I'm building one similar soon but with few upgrades and not in a mini case. Nice tight squeeze there for the kraken! Was that hard getting it in or was it a perfect fit?

Also - do you not need the Hue+ to control the fans and the Kraken? Or do they just work from CAM software without the Hue+?

You need the Hue+ for the fans, not the Kraken

The Kraken X62 fits nicely, good luck with your build!

Hey man, this build is really clean (this sleeved cables :o) but the position of these 2 aer are not really good for me (take n easy it's your build) but why put the aer rgb at the place of the normal fan (looks like the aer fan stock kraken's) and how much did you paid for the sleeved cables ? (did you make them) ?

Thanks !

Optimum makes his own sleeved cables for his builds.

Georgia must be really happy them mate, she did a very nice job in building this one, it's clean, aside from the annoying cables from the pump on the x62, but oh well.

Thanks a lot man, she's really enjoying it so far - and agreed on the X62 & Hue+ mess lol

they really should've put them in the region with the tubes so you could run the cables along the pump tubes and run them around the back with the fans from the radiator. it would be so much cleaner and easier to manage.

Someone here must watch Hardware Canucks. It's Fred's brother, Fernsworth!

But seriously, very nice sleeving on the system.

You are also really lucky to get a 1070 for the price you got it for.

Looks nice! I'm going to be rebuilding into this case soon with my GTX1070 FE, but I'm considering watercooling the GPU. How's the FE blower noise in this case?

May i know where did you house the Hue+ ?

Can you mount the x62 on the top? Btw watched your vid lol How's airflow dude? Like is it very bad or is it decent?

On pc part picker it says that the 1600 isn't compatible with the motherboard, is that an error or should I be getting a different motherboard?

How do you like the Gpu? Are noise and temps under control ? What tips would you have for someone looking to buy a Blower Style card?

♥️ This one. I also love the Fractal Design mini C case. I'm going to attempt a similar build. I didn't know the X62 would fit in the front. This site is brilliant for ideas. Thanks
