Description

I made this build to stream more and just get better frames overall in most game. I have my 8700k overclocked to 4.7 Ghz and I also have my 1070 ti overclocked by idk how much. It worked but cable management is a little hard in this case because there is only around 3/4 of an inch space to manage the cables.

Part Reviews

CPU

Great CPU!!! I've seen people hit 5 Ghz with this cpu but i couldn't for some reason which im kinda bummed about. But other than that it performs 10/10

CPU Cooler

Great cooler!!! Easy install and the 3 fan splitters on the waterblock are really useful and is great for adjusting rpms. Looks great too!!!

Motherboard

Great OC mobo. Aura software is okay but the overall hardware is top notch

Memory

I mean. Its rgb ram. What can I say other than it looks sexy and can hit a fairly high voltage on it with oc.

Storage

Lightning speed boot and game loadups. 10/10

Storage

ummm yes. Very good cheap hard drive. Hasn't failed.

Video Card

I mean if performs well, looks amazing. But if you change the color to white on most if not all asus strix cards have a purple-ish tone. which is pretty sad if you want to do a white build.

Case

10/10 looks. 8/10 design. I wish they didnt have a bracket for 3 ssd's that you can have or not. I wish you can remove one or two at a time and more cable ties in the middle area.

Power Supply

Performs great. Cables are good. Wish it was a tad smaller.

Really nice clean build! Make the most of that CPU and cooler, that OC sounds reasonable

With that cooler, you can probably push 5.0Ghz with some effort, but otherwise a very nice, clean build! +1

Very nice build! Incredibly similar to mine! I went with a i5-8600k and a gigabyte 1080gpu, everything else is very very similar, same mobo, ram, I had the V2 cooler, and a little more SSD compacity but no hard drive. You’re build is fanstastic and around the same price as mine too, Idk how to even rank performance of this machine vs mine, I have a little more GPU, you have a little more CPU, I love the colors and the case, I’ll share my build later this week. Way to go and congratulations.

Nice! I am annoyed with my system because the motherboards RGB won't work. It is the Asus ROG Strix Z370-E gaming motherboard

Did you plug in everything correctly? Check your connections and if you did everything right then you probably just have a bad motherboard.

I did I think it is a bad board, so I will contact Micro Center for a refund

the 460 is a great case choice

I haven't gotten to transplant my computer guts into my new 460X but I plan on using the PSU and HDD shrouds to hide a lot if the back can't cover it all. I run all SSD's and if I need mass storage I'll use a 2.5" 1-2TB drive in the back to avoid the drive case.

hello a question I have the same case and the corsair to cool with water but I had a problem to put the radiator 360 but the 3 fans did not give me space to put the tray to save the HDD as you did? Will not you let me put that tray because there are the cables from the source to put me in for pictures?
