Description

Used mostly for gaming. Minecraft, BF1, BFBC2, Mass Effect, web browsing, etc. Very soon the case will be modified to fit a 240 Rad, and a second GTX680 will be added in SLI and will then overclocked.

Stable 4.5GHz overclock tested with Intel Burn Test.

Hey, it's a Kepler GPU. How's that GTX 680 treating you? Always nice to see older parts like that being reused and upcycled.

Its great. Its had a very decent, bios flashed, overclock on it for the past couple of years. Plays all of my games, at almost maximum settings, so I can't complain. Heat and fan usage are very reasonable.

I mean, I think I would prefer to get an ASUS Z170-A for that price but that's just me... Also, you could have gotten like a 1060 or even 1070 and gotten 16GB's of RAM but overall nice build!

I'm gonna assume at the very least that the GPU is from a previous build. Nobody in their right mind would pay that much for a 680 given what's available now for substantially less.

Yeah, none of the prices for the parts are set properly. It's annoying to set them all, so I can understand why OP didn't bother.

None of the prices were set, just the defaults. I bought the board/CPU/RAM as a package deal for far cheaper than listed, from a local PC store. The GTX680 was from my old rig. It will be updated after Christmas.

I definitely like it! Shame its getting replaced with a water loop soon, as it doesn't allow for my case side to fit on.

What case is that?

It's literally in the name and the parts list.

As Tultameneli said, its in the parts list. But its an NZXT Guardian 921 RB.

Why did you spend this much? You could have got more power for less. Also, if you looked around, you can get Windows 10 for around $35 Canadian.

I'm not trying to be a hater, though. Sorry. :(

I'm fairly certain this isn't what he spent. He doesn't have any custom prices set.

Oh, sorry

We have a local store here, that commonly does Mobo/CPU/Ram package deals. So I paid nowhere near the listed prices. Same with the power supply, it was purchased from the same store via a black friday sale.

Little bit surprised Minecraft was in the gaming list, haven't seen that in a while. Also why a 680 when the 1060 or 1070 is out. Just curious. Still +1 very nice build

It was out of my old rig, with Christmas right around the corner I wasn't able to purchase a newer GPU. I'll probably end up donating it to my girlfriends rig this spring.

I've owned two of them now! They don't have the best wire management, but that's part of the fun.

That case doesn't look like NZXT's

Definitely an NZXT case. Its about five years old. Interesting enough, my H630 has since been removed and replaced with the Phantom 630 on NZXT's website.

Is the Cooler Master V6 GT RGB? or is it just purple?

These pictures are a few days old. Promised my girlfriend she could remove the plastic covering. Lol The cooler is RGB. I usually keep it to the blue setting.
