Description

Long time since i started this build. Still not done I use it for all kind of stuff from racing to music. The room is 3x3m small so its a tight fit, behind me is a couch also. The PC runs very smooth, games like Project Cars 2, Assetto Corsa, Raceroom - no problems in VR Edit: Did sold my 2 R9 cards and got one gtx1080 from Zotac

Also i changed the Pedals and the Wheel (Deleted my old setup because i changed so many parts in the last year)

Wheel Base : Fanatec CSW V2 Rim : BMW GT2 Pedals : Fanatec V3, Brake and Damper kit upgraded Button Box : DSD kit Handbrake : Fanatec

The next thing is going for the Oculus Rift and maybe change my RS1 Seat for something that moves and the Fanatec SQ 1.5 Shifter

Edit: Got the Oculus and SQ Shifter

Edit:After 1 Month with the Corrsair Case i send it back and got the Core P5 because i needed the PC on the wall. I also got the X41 AIO for my GPU and i can say its way cooler , the setup was straight to go, no problems at all.... ok maybe one - noticed i didnt apply the thermal paste after finishing the whole setup xD

I'm liking the guitars. nice to see another person who's into guitars, computers and cars. One question, what's that red Ibanez? looks awesome. I only have 1 guitar, because i'm poor. It's a Squier Strat starter pack guitar. Came with an amp, gig bag and tuner. Currently saving for an Ibanez RG321 that came up for sale in my area for $180.

its a Signature Model from Ibanez. The JS1000 signed on the back from the man himself - Joe Satriani. I think the best guitar for the money in that segment is the Squier Classic Vibe if your in that kind of sound or something like the Ibanez S470 (the Black one on my wall)

So it's been a while, but i pulled the trigger on a new guitar in January. It's an all original Ibanez RG320 from 1998 in grey pewter. It's got a few dings here and there, and i had to re-setup the floyd rose on it, but it plays and sounds amazing. and best of all, it was cheap. only 130 USD, when brand new it was over 500 USD.

so I might be getting rid of my 320. For another 320 lol. But a QM model and it comes with a case. Gonna pull the Duncan Designeds out of my current one and transfer them over.

Amazing build man. Awesome cable management. How do those fans work on the bottom ? Wouldn’t dust be a big problem for fans in that particular area.

The Case has dust filters on the bottom for the fans and one for the PSU

Really Nice build and studio. There are a few things you could have done better on but overall good build and racecar seat

Like what? i was planing this room for over 2 months, i think the cable management sucks but my problem is that its all so tight and i have problems when i want to plug something in or out because the cables are not long enough

Its a good build dont get me wrong. I just think you could have budgeted a little better on things like the CPU fan and case. Another thing, Intel is extremely overpriced for Storage. So you paid about 215(Us dollars) about for 240 GB. But if you bought if you bought it from Samsung(still overpriced) you could have gotten a 250 SSD for 89.99

Im not mad. sorry if it looks so =). I dont have the Samsung SSD, no idea why it selected that one, i got one from SanDisc. I got the big case because i had 2x R9 280X in this PC and i can say you - they heat up and my first plan was to build a custom loop but didnt have the money at the time. And the Kraken....well.....i wanted to enter the Water Cooling world like i said but didnt want to spend to much at the time =)

it's not Samsung but it says intel, but either way makes no difference. +1 for you

Awesome man! Love the fanatec set you've got going. I've currently got a t300 alcantara myself and I'm eyeing down those Clubsport V3 pedals. How do you like it?

How do you like your setup/space? If you could, what would you change?

+1

i had the T500RS Wheel and pedals 4 years ago and after that i got my first Fanatec setup - the CSR Base and the V2 Pedals. Loved them so much more and now i have the V2 Whell Base and the V3 pedals for a year and man thats one step up in the sim world. i oalso got the damper and braking kit, love them to. i set 4 world records (i give you the link from one of them from my chanel) in Assetto Corsa on the RSR Live Timing list with the V3 pedals. Yes i know, there are faster drivers that are still using cheap Logitech pedals but i couldnt drive with a linear brake. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HH1ygU7Epvs
