Sorry in advance for potato-quality smartphone pictures :(
This is my first Gaming PC owned and built. I spent some time doing my research (reviewing benchmarks, reviews, checking out other builds here). I was originally going to go the AMD FX processor and Radeon video card route but I saw too many good things about Intel and Nvidia.
Very fast. Awesome. Overclocked to 4.5 GHZ @ 1.270 V
The Corsair H100i does a good job keeping the CPU cool even under 100% load. The included fans are kinda loud so I think I will replace will some different fans later.
Very nice features. Red & Black color scheme looks cool.
No problems. Runs great. Runs at 2133 MHz
Nice and fast. Windows 8 boots in a flash ( startup = 10 sec, shutdown = 5 sec). It only holds about 10 - 15 games so I will get a large HDD later.
MSI Frozr series is one of the most inexpensive of the GTX brands and has great reviews for easy OC and cooling performance. Can handle any game at 1080p, Ultra setting, No AA at smooth and steady FPS. Overclocked to 1300 MHz core and 7500 MHz memory clocks. Not bad for only an allowed +12 mV core voltage and 111% power limit.
Semi Modular is perfect because I used most of the attached cords and I only had to add a SATA power cable.
I love this case because of the steel build material. The case is fingerprint-resistant and offers a high quality look to the build. I don't think I'll ever buy a plastic case after using this one. Color is a change from the usual black cases I see all the time. The only tight spot was at the case ceiling. I had to mount the H100i cooler a little higher up than usual because the mobo heatsink was in the way, but it worked just fine.
I only have a small 2.1 system for now. I will get a good gaming headset later.
I've run some tests on Unigine Valley 1.0 - Extreme HD - 1080p. All default clock speeds on CPU, GPU, and Main Memory: score 1970 All overclocked speeds for CPU, GPU, and Main Memory: score 2161 So overclocking gives me about ~10% extra performance.
Been using for over 2 years overclocked with no issues so far. Should hold up for many more years.
Great AIO water cooler. However, the included fans are LOUD. I had to buy some nice quiet static pressure fans for the radiator.
Never had a problem with this board. Offers plenty of extra software (most of which I don't use but it's nice to have available for some people). Offers a CPU overclock button right on motherboard for small, safe boost in CPU clock multipliers.
Works great. Not much to say.
I have been using this drive as my primary for over 2 years and experienced zero problems so far. I will always stay with Samsung for SSD's for their superior performance, warranties, software, and competitive pricing.
Silent card. Played games well 1080p @ 60 FPS.
Probably 95% metal design. Plenty of room for cable management. Not capable with AIO water coolers so I had to rig the H100i weirdly to the top of case. Also for the first few months of using the case a vibrating noise was coming from the side window and metal vibrating together. Problem seemed to just go away after a while.
Semi-modular. Been using for over 2 years now and no issues.
Great operating system. Used student discount on Microsoft store to get Pro for $70.
Cheap 2.1 system to hold me over until I decide on a better audio solution.
