I'm a huge fan of the famous TV show Breaking Bad. So I've been the last year thinking about a way to build a new PC for me with that theme.
The first thing was choosing the BEST available parts to build the 2019 SUPREME BUILD. In the CPU area the I9 9900K for gaming is the best out there, i know the cost for the performance may be overrated, but i want a no compromise PC. The motherboard had to be ASUS, the CODE is the second top, losing to the FORMULA (i didn't want to watercool the VRM). The way to game without limits: NVIDIA RTX 2080TI Founders edition. Next is the sweet little RGB god from GSKILL TridentZ RGB 32 GB (3200 mhz) to populate all the slots! To make the games run fast and windows: NVME samsung 970 PRO 512 gb. For mass storage, i'm using a Seagate Barracuda Pro 4 TB. To power the magnificent specs, i choose EVGA SuperNOVA 850W Titanium PSU.
For the aesthetics the case of my dreams was the Lian Li PC-O11 DW, since it wasn't available in Brazil (where i live), i bought from my last trip to NY! What a perfect and easy to build case.
Of course with all the high class parts, and looking to build some nice PC, i choose to do my first custom watercooler PC. With the idea of Heisenberg, the case had to be the White version (Walter White - hahaha)! And the coolant i picked up a opaque light blue from EK that matches the tone of the Methafetamina that Mr White produced!
The watercooler parts i went all bitspower (thanks for the first class support from the TW team). They have this spectacular water distribution block (SEDNA) with pump custom made for the Lian Li O11 that makes the build so unique! Picked up their RGB CPU block, RGB GPU block, RGB fans (yes, there is a lot of RGB). The fans came with a RGB hub and a PMW Fan hub, that made my life so much easier! The fittings were all white, the flow indicator as well. To finish off the backplate i made a custom one with the guys from JMMods with the picture from Heisenberg (mr White) with RGB as well.
The hard tube used was Acrylic from bitspower 14 mm OD. It was easy to bend and cut, i just need a heat gun and a little grinding.
The cable was designed by to match the color theme me and ordered to CableMod (ModMesh).
The radiator is from Primochill, they have custom colors options, so instead of paint myself in Blue, i opt to get it with a nice brand with the perfect painting.
CPU OVERCLOCK I was able to make the PC stable with a 8 core 5GHZ overclock with 1,380V (adaptive mode) Cinebench score: 2198
GPU OVERCLOCK I was able to make it the GPU clock increase in +175 mhz and the GPU memory clock in +750 mhz.
FINAL CONSIDERATIONS Really happy with my first custom watercooler build, hope you guys like it!
