Firstly I wanted a PC that looks good (Hence the black and red LED theme). Secondly, a PC I can play some of the latest games on at high/ultra settings with a decent FPS (Not a massive gamer but I'd like to have the option there). Thirdly, a PC that I can use for video editing since I'm a student filmmaker and my 2.9GHz i7 dual core Macbook Pro wasn't giving me the power I needed to render heavily edited and colour corrected/graded films at 1080p on Adobe Premiere Pro CC. And Finally, a PC I can achieve all those things without breaking the bank. I was looking to spend £500-600 on the PC itself. I already had surround speakers, a TV and an optical drive from my last PC that I bought from Dell. The extra money I spent past my budget were towards looks, such as the red LED keyboard, mouse and headset and all those extra LED fans.
