Been Dragging an 8 year old PC for gaming, it was a pre built, threw a hd5670 in it when gaming bug bit me. Finally decided to build a new PC last year with not so much money in hand, so kept delaying it further and further. Kept reading and watching youtube videos about building gaming pcs meanwhile. Decided to take the plunge in Jan 2018 and started ordering cheapest parts for new PC first. First month was the HDD, Next was the case. Then saw the news about b360 motherboards on the way & decided to wait for them. Pre-Ordered the Motherboard with CPU & Ram as soon as it hit the e-tailer's website.
Figured would use the ok-ok PSU for the time being, which i ordered last to last month for the old PC but was lying unused. Only problem was the CPU 8 pin connector wire was not long enough to route through the back and this case doesn't have a cut out for wire on top left, so had to route it through front, will be solved with new PSU which would be very soon.
Screamed like an 8 year old when the pc booted in 1st try since this was my 1st build.
Skipped the GPU because of the market prices, was eyeing a gtx 1060 or 1070 but will now wait for gtx 1160. Getting same FPS without GPU in new PC compared to old pc with gpu xD, so its ok to wait coz will be getting better VFM once the market drops. Only looking at 1080p 144hz competitive FPS gaming nothing too fancy.
Upgrades in mind - 1st a 80+ PSU, then a GPU, case fans, m2 SSD, new mouse, CPU cooler, 1 more stick of 8gb Ram, 144hz monitor - in that order.
